This is a relatively small restaurant, so it's best to book. Nice, modern decor with a…read moreMediterranean style menu. A reasonably priced lunch time business menu and a good evening menu with regular specials. It caters well (for Germany) for vegetarians, and for the carnivores among you the steaks are great (even our Australian friend was impressed). The service is competent and friendly, it seems to be one of the few restaurants in Germany that actually manages to bring all the meals together.

Absolute bull! I went here in late 2016 using the Schlemmerblock. I will NEVER return. The…read morewaitstaff is not to be trusted, and management does not respond to complaints about their thieving staff. My party of four received good service. The food was nothing special, but you can't expect amazing food in Darmstadt. I had been to Mokka Mokka before and did not expect to get ripped off. The check came, and I paid using my EC card. The waiter then refused to accept my 4:2 Schlemmerblock even though he had it counted on the bill. He did new math in his head and announced the new number. I went along with him, not wanting to be rude in front of the entire table and not really thinking about what was happening. He made a big show of my card not being accepted, which further distracted me. Only after leaving the restaurant, I realized that he told me wrong and I should have gotten two free meals, not just one. He probably took the price of the extra meal as a tip for himself. I wrote to the manager in German. I also wrote to the Schlemmerblock company. Schlemmerblock advised me to leave a bad review on their website. The manager did nothing. I will not be returning.

The food smelled fantastic when I walked in, I just wish I hadn't eaten in Rome. I had a great salad and garlic bread. And they have raki, which is like ouzo without the anise. It was the smoothest raki I've ever had, including in Crete. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Most importantly, I stayed upstairs! They have a few hotel rooms on the 1st floor (perhaps more). The room was spacious and quiet. And it's 10 minutes to the airport. Perfect!

And therefore the price was not that reasonable regarding the quality. I guess it would be a nice spot for grabbing some drinks though. The staff was nice too.

Fancy place with good food. Feels like a living room, but a little bit loud…read more Service: Nice, friendly and also with a good speed on your serive requests. Food: They'll just created a new menu. Everything is kind of creative and has these lovely little things that makes you smile (eg: raspberry in your lemonade). A main course costs about 13 Euros. They have a lot of different foods from the western cuisine and surprisingly a lot of breakfast. Also a good variations for vegans. Location: Everything is not only clean and good looking, but also has the touch to be new (or a vary good maintenance). But it can be a little bit loud in the ground floor, because of the chatting of all the people. Near city and near public transport (U-Bahn) located directly on the famous Berger Straße, the street to be. So a short sit in for lunch/dinner is recommended. Sidenote: Mirador can also host your events (like anniversaries). I'll think I'll do my wedding here ;)
