They are polite, helpful, and clearly work hard. This review is NOT about them. The problem is the office and customer service team, specifically Tom, Michael, and Martin. The level of incompetence and disregard I experienced is shocking. Multiple items went missing from my stored belongings, including very valuable and irreplaceable baby items. Instead of taking this seriously or actively trying to locate the missing things, there was no real effort made to investigate. I felt dismissed from the beginning. What makes it worse: I had to organize pickup twice because they forgot parts of my belongings the first time. This was entirely their mistake. I live in Cologne and had to rent a large truck and arrange everything around their strict 9 a.m. pickup time. That meant waking up at 5 a.m. and driving there under significant time pressure that THEY created. When I arrived, I was told in a casual tone, "Why are you so early? I'm here the whole day." This happened twice. Because of their errors, I lost two full days and around 700 euros for truck rental and gas. And still, items are missing. Customer service was not just unhelpful, it felt manipulative. I was repeatedly given the impression that issues would only be resolved if I left a positive review and mentioned specific names. That is completely unacceptable. There has been no refund, no proper resolution, and no accountability. If you value your belongings, especially sentimental or important items, think very carefully before using this service.

I'd seen some mouse droppings in a corner of my unit shortly before I took off for the airport. I wasn't surprised (especially being in Amsterdam) but became concerned. It was also outside office hours so I emailed Dan and asked him to please spray some mouse poison around my unit. Though he couldn't do that for safety reasons, he did throw grains of mouse poison under my unit's door. Dan was responsive over email - and in English :) The place was clean every time I went there. The building is safe, too, as you need codes to get in and out of there. If you'll be in and out of town and will need to access your stuff, you might find the location rather inconvenient, but if you'll be away for a while it'll fine - there's lots of space for cars and trucks there. Also, my deposit was refunded within the promised time ;)
