Stay away from Volusia Brick & Stone - Volusia Brick & Stone supplied and installed the stone on…read morethe front of my new home. This is some of the poorest workmanship I have ever encountered. Already the stone is falling off my house. The crew they sent to install this stone were just contractors; only one of them spoke any english and he told me it was the first time he's ever installed stone... and it shows! In the agreement that was sent it says any unused material will be credited back... well this sure is a lie. I have a ridiculous amount of stone left over and they will not give me any credit for it. Stay away from this poorly run company! They have ruined the look of my new home.

I am totally satisfied with the Jose and his crew. I finally have a moment to complete this review…read moreto help others -sorry it's taken so long!! I purchased my home here in Palm Coast, FL on Oct 18, 2021. I met a lot of contractors to do the work, and finally chose to hire Jose Collado (AG Construction aka AG Pavers) after doing a lot of research for the best option. Since I was new to the area, I relied on past review history and am so glad I hired Jose. Check him out on home advisor/Angie's list. His crew and work staff were timely, respectful, and did a very good job. He oversaw quite a few projects: Pavers - patio, porch, side, and pathway around garden (completed October) Flooring entire interior (completed October) Interior and Exterior Painting (completed October) Master and Spare Bathroom updates (completed February) Lighting throughout house (completed October) Kitchen /laundry room renovation (completed February) Lots of other little add-ons were also done, I can't begin to list them all! The few delays we had were due to delays in receiving bathroom and kitchen cabinets, but workers were super at planning around it. When I look back and consider what was becoming a new norm - all the crazy supply issues, and ability to even find good workers, I am amazed how blessed I was to see it all get completed within four short months. Jose's crew began work 10/20/2021 and had it all done by February! Jose was a great communicator and easy to work with. He helped oversee an excellent group of guys who all worked to make my Palm Coast house a "brand new" and cozy home. These guys are honest and work to complete satisfaction. You won't be disappointed if you hire Jose.

We Hired them to install a wall A/C Unit, and build a deck, as well as install sliding glass doors…read more the doors are fine. The a/c was not the kind you install in a wall (We found out later) They should have known this, also they didn't put it on enough of a slant, resulting in condensation leaking into the home destroying our hardwood floors. They blamed our A/C unit (Which was brand new) and refused to take responsibility for the floors. We have also noticed severe warping in parts of the deck, as well as a corner that was mitered improperly. We have not addressed the wood deck issues, since they were very non negotiable with the A/C/Floors problem. At 1st we thought they were a great company, but obviously they do not behave responsibly when something goes wrong.

We hired this company to remodel our shed into an office. This job ended up costing us double what…read morethe original estimate was. Throughout the project we felt cut out of the decision making process and treated as though we were one of their smaller and less important jobs. While they did remodel the shed and it looks decent as an office, for the money we spent, we are not 100% happy with the product. We put priority on certain things like the style of the ceiling, and our standards were not met on that. There were other small things we feel they cut corners on and we have just had to settle with the product we have now. Lastly, upon completion of the project our contract stated that we had 30 days to pay the balance, although we did not intend on waiting that long to pay them and had already dropped the check in the mail for them, their receptionist had the nerve to ask if they could stop by our home and pick up payment one day after the project was completed, this took us by surprise and we felt very uncomfortable about that request. Especially because there were a few small things that were undone like the install of the window sills. I would not hire this company to continue with remodels on our historic home as I feel we will be over charged and under valued as their customers.
