There were a lot more chips than there were fish, but the fish was tasty and battered to perfection. The tartar sauce was also perfect. Call me American, but I admit I was not a fan of the chips. Thick and chunky seem to be the style in Germany but I like my thin fries...Because the majority of the dish ended up being chips, as I mentioned, I left a bit unsatisfied.Keep that in mind! I know I will definitely become a regular of this chain when I'm in Germany.

I was there with some locals who come here often and they were equally disappointed. The menu is classic German cuisine and I had the black pudding with caramelized leeks and pear for starter and cod fish wrapped in potato crust for main. I loved the black pudding and my Cod was cooked to perfection but way too greasy. It also lacked a bit of seasoning. One of the guys at our table was served rare pork cutlet and it was almost raw on one side. I think everyone who got the pork cutlet did not eat all of it. Something that should never happen. We also waited over 45 mins for our main course at lunch time. The rest was nice and they were kind enough to take all of our food off the bill and not charge us for it. A rare occurrence but they knew it was not acceptable. I will give this place another go and see. It is also the reason I gave it three stars instead of two. It is a nice looking place with a decent food and wine options.

The goose was dry!!! According to the menu the salmon steak should be served with a salad , fries and soy sauce and wasabi. What we got: 22 fries, no salad, no sauce, no wasabi and the steak was raw! The waiting time between the appetizer and the main course: 45 minutes!!!! Next to the table is a bar - when I asked for a club soda the waitress was confused ('what is that?')............an upcale restaurant and bar???? The goulash with noodles was so bad you can get better at the christmas market next door. My advice: AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
