Inconsistent and Unreliable…read more I brought in a $140 Allen Edmonds belt to be shortened and asked what they recommended. The person at the counter told me to remove four inches, and I trusted their guidance. When I picked it up, it didn't fit at all because they had taken off too much. I was then told they would add the leather back and I could come pick it up, so I made another trip. When I arrived, nothing had been done, and the actual repair person told me he couldn't add the leather back after all. Later the story changed again, saying they could add only two inches, but that I would have to pay more. At that point, I decided to replace the belt entirely. There was inconsistent communication and no guarantee of good results, and I didn't want to keep driving back and forth. Based on my experience, I wouldn't trust their recommendations or their workmanship.
