On December 29, 2025, the Eunice Public Library in Eunice, NM hosted a book discussion and signing of a local author. This is a tiny library, but the resources were great. The staff was very welcoming of my grandmother and me. We were directed to a private room where about 10 of us sat and listened to Stevan (Steve) Pearce discuss his book, "You Had a Good Home, But You Left" about his solo flight around our planet to honor American soldiers who did not make it home. Afterwards, I got my copy signed (plus one I bought for a loved one, a fellow veteran) and snapped a photo with Pearce. The room got a bit stuffy due to the heater constantly running, but there was snow on the ground from earlier that afternoon. There was street parking only, no lot.
