This place is hard to rate as I don't live here but I did rent one of the rented rooms for my two week vacation. I will rate based on location, services and building itself.
Eton Parkview is the best location to live in. It's close to everything from Greenbelt 1 which is two blocks away and all other Greenbelt malls. Next is Glorietta, Landmark and SM also walking distance. Grocery and shopping is so close, too and why live anywhere else, right?
I believe there are many residence living here as well as condos used for business rentals. There is a loading zone in front of this building for folks coming to this building. I always see new people coming in.
The front staff are welcoming most of the time. They usually open the doors for you and assist with your bags if needed. They always seem very confused when you speak to them and didn't speak English well. They do recognize you if you return often even as vacation renters. The place is well maintained especially the lobby. During the evenings they turn off the AC, I guess to conserve electricity. In the hallways and elevators, there is no AC what so ever and is always warm. There is a garage on the bottom floor but we never rented a car to drive. Filipino drivers are crazy! Haha... I know there is a pool and gym to use but we never used them as its too hot. As for the condo rooms, it depends what you rent and who you rent from. We only rented two bedrooms here but both rooms are like lofts and very small. They do have small kitchenette and is doable.
This building does provide building maintenance but they work only from 11a-5p so you always have to schedule it early or ahead of time. One thing I have noticed is, the condo room doors in this building are not sealed off; meaning if someone cooks stinking fish, you will be able to smell whatever they cooked. Not a good structure of how this was built. If I own the condo, I would seal it off. The higher the condo room, the hotter the room and AC will work on overtime.
If it wasn't for the location, I would have preferred a different building to stay for vacation but 7-11 is next door, massage places, banks, grocery and malls are so close...no need to rent a car or driver all the time. This is the city life in Manila. read more
