I had heard very good and positive remarks about the doctor. However, I never got a chance to meet him. I had told Sebastian, who sat at the front, in my phone call and when I arrived that I was in a lot of pain. Even though I had filled out the form online, I was given another stack of papers to fill out. I didn't feel up to it, but I gave it my best shot. Then I was told I hadn't checked all the boxes properly and that I "have to do that or the doctor won't see you". he also asked for me to list all the doctors I've ever seen so they could get records. I didn't want to do that. I didn't think it was necessary for the purpose of being there. He kept saying it's very important and I said I understand you think it's important but for me right now it's not. I just wanted to see the doctor and discuss my back pain. Then I was told that they had called my insurance compan and were told I was registered with another medical group and therefore insurance wouldn't cover it and I would need to pay $150 before seeing the doctor. At that point I found it all too overwhelming and even though it was pouring down rain I decided I should just leave and I did. When I get frustrated, I tend to use a swear word and they didn't like that I used the "bad word". I experienced more of a disciplinary attitude that a compassionate approach to my healthcare. That added stress and was not helpful. I left without ever meeting the doctor. read more
