He had me do the same pose over and over with minor adjustments to the tilt of the head. The photos sent to me to choose were all about the same, leaving me with little to choose from. Maybe if you're 25 and glowing with youth, he'll be more motivated. But I think the work of a good photographer is LISTENING and finding the best way to capture the subject. This is not the experience I had and I'm sorry I wasted $250.

My fiance specified that we would be in Charleston for an entire week so if something happened weather or business wise, we could push the engagement out to another day. Todd texted him all the way up until the time we got to the park and said everything was ready to go but NOOO... It was not. My fiance proposed, everything was great until we turned around to see Todd rolling around in the grass using his PHONE to capture our engagement... When we went up to talk to him, he said (laughing of course), "Hey man, I don't know what happened, my camera malfunctioned but I got these really sick pics on my phone"... Which were blurry and terrible. He then asked to use our camera that my fiance brought to "re-enact" our engagement which happened about 7 different times because he couldn't get the right lighting... Later he confessed that he actually just forgot his camera battery but didn't want to turn around and drive home or reschedule to another day... He took what was supposed to be such a wonderful moment and ruined it with his lack of professionalism.

Moments that I didn't even know were happening and sweet moments I'd already forgotten in the rush of the day she was able to capture perfectly! She caught every moment I wanted and moments I didn't even think to capture! I don't consider myself very photogenic because I'm a short, curvy lady (you know what I mean, ladies!), but Valerie blew my mind when it came to the volume of amazing pictures... she is definitely a pro who could work with my body type to pose it in the most flattering ways and she made me feel beautiful during the whole thing... I'm proud of every single one of them!!!!! I was crying from happiness that all of them were my favorites. She kept things fun, she was early and took extra "details" pictures before we were ready. You can tell she's proud of, and a perfectionist, when it comes to her profession. She truly enjoys what she does and it shines through into her photographs. I'm so glad we made photography the biggest part of our budget because now we have photographic memories that will last beyond our lifetime.
