Awful experience here. I've sat on this review for four YEARS. However, in light of recent accusations and horrible behaviors coming to light in the tattoo community, I thought I'd speak up. Daughter got her very first tattoo here when she turned 18. The tattoo artist was unbelievably unprofessional. I'm a mom, she's 18. He proceeded to show us a book featuring nude women in it - I mean, nude. Like the whole enchilada nude. I was mortified and frankly, speechless. He then told us very inappropriate things in conversation, mentioned that he carries a loaded gun on him at all times (like we cared?), was very crude and swore nonstop. I'm not naive, I'm sure that there are plenty of tattoo artists that behave this way - however, since this awful experience, we have found two other artists who are extremely respectful, kind, don't need to swear non stop and have never behaved inappropriately. We never returned here and never have recommended them to anyone. Also to add, he is a terrible tattoo artist. Full of wobbly lines and a very crap job. Skip this place. Period. read more

I have too many piercings to post, however being that I have gotten 2 industrials, 2 conches, a nose piercing, naval, tragus, rook, and more done here, definitely recommend. I highly recommend John to do any piercing as he has done all of mine except for one, however the other one that was done was by a female piercer that never lined up the new piercing to my old one so they're lopsided which I don't mind so much but just a heads up! I got a helix piercing done there and had a really good experience. It only took a few minutes, my piercer was kind and told me all the relevant information about aftercare. She also answered all my questions about the piercing. The equipment was clean. The piercing was also not bad at all when it came to price! The only thing is if you get a piercing here you should bring cash if you want to tip!! I would recommend this place and I would go back! I know I gave it 4/5 stars, but it didn't loose a star for anything. There was nothing negative about it but I only gave 4 stars because there wasn't anything extraordinary about it either. Everything I said previously still rings true, great shop, great owners, great artists. A true community shop with the experience & common sense to do a great job & provide an excellent experience & art you will love forever. I am updating because I was messaged for pictures (please note I have added them to the page (all those pics of the leg with the flowers, that's me) & someone asked me about pricing. I can't speak to that 100%, every shop & every artist is different as is every tattoo. I can say that honestly I have felt my work was very reasonably priced. I have some health issues so I have split my work into multiple sittings. I usually add 2 to 3 flowers at a time, I come in for a sitting to do the outline & shading & then a month or so later after that has healed I come back for my color. This process has worked great for me & my color looks amazing, even the first set of flowers which were done about 8 years ago are still bright & vibrant, the color on my leg is what I get the most compliments on. Typically I have paid 250 to 400 for each set of 2 to 3 flowers (2 sittings each set), depending on how many flowers, & how complex the flowers & the color. I will say also that I go in repeatedly for piercings & gauging, my daughter, brother, & friends go to this shop, & I give out tons of their business cards because I get so many comments on my leg. I do everything I can to send business their way. I hope this helps with the questions I was asked. read more

I used to always go in this place when I was younger with my family and got my first piercing here. The place has seriously gone downhill. I sat on getting a piercing for a while but walked in here last year and the piercer was off putting. My usual place was busy so I stopped here a few weeks ago and wouldn't recommend. I've gotten many piercings over the years, always take good care of them this is the first time I've gotten an infection and have to take it out. Waste of money. read more

I went and got my scoop pierced on August 26, 2020. It fell out not even 2 weeks later. I went back & told them I either wanted it repierced or I wanted my money back. They said they don't do refunds, so I asked if they would repierce it, they said they would but they would charge me the 50$ again. So I decided to tell them off and say no, I'm not paying anything. I just moved to NC and I've heard good things about this place and decided to try, and this is the experience I get. I am not too happy and this place is by far the worst I've been to in NC. Not recommended at all. People are also rude as hell and give you lots of attitude while talking to you. Not recommended at all...negative. read more

Jerry is a master at his art. I brought in a map of my home country (which features a very complicated coastline and multiple islands) for a piece I wanted on my chest. I thought the whole process would take at least 90 minutes, Jerry finished it in less than 30, with incredible attention to detail. It came out so much better than I imagined and I am thrilled with this beautiful symbol of my homeland. The shop is extremely clean and has a great atmosphere, Roberta at the front desk is very friendly and awesome to talk to. I got my tattoo at Eternal Ink yesterday, June 18, 2015. It was my first one and I was a ball of nerves. I came in and David Siegel, my artist, calmed my nerves and explained that he was very gentle. It wasn't very painful at all and it took approximately 35 minutes. It is a beautiful piece. If I get another, I'm going back to Eternal Ink and having Dave doing it! It's a very clean shop, and each artist has their own private room which I liked. Everyone was very friendly and it was a great environment to get inked in!!! read more

Ms Roberta helped us greatly - my 6-yr daughter had taken her earring out because it was hurting and after treating it, we couldn't get the earring back in. Ms Roberta jumped into help - calmly putting the earring back into my very-nervous daughter's ear after cleaning the ear. She's so knowledgeable -- was able to put us on a path of gold-only and nickel free earrings and tea tree oil for cleaning. Thank you! read more

Service was excellent from start to finish! When I came in all the artists were working so, although she was totally slammed with customers for piercing, Berta took the time to help me select a font that would look good and work with my quote and small forearm. It was my first tattoo (at 50!) and the artist was great about calming my nerves and walking me though it. Aftercare was well explained as well. Went into the shop to see about getting a small tattoo drawn up and I only spoke with the receptionist the entire time I was there. She was watching Netflix when I walked in and when I told her what I was there for, she was very rude. She questioned and judged the placement for my tattoo (on my foot) and overall was very difficult to work with. At first, she did not even want to really do anything for me because she said the shop was very busy, yet the shop was basically empty. I understand that the artists may be very good to work with, however, they shouldn't have this receptionist as the first person to interact with. I will not be getting anything here. read more
