After multiple calls to places I happened to call eternal art and April told me yes come on down. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile! They were so friendly and we got our tattoos finally! Just wanted to start off by saying it's a nice vibe when you walk in. April was there to greet us and she introduced us to jake and told us a little about there history. They make you feel comfortable. Jake doesn't rush anything. My sleeve looks amazing and I'm going to go back and get all my tattoos by him. Great artist and super chill people. Great shop! April & Jake are great people, took me for a walk in last minute to do a big spine piece. They were very patient with me and took the time to make sure that it was exactly what I wanted before tattooing. Overall price was fair, atmosphere was Awesome and just overall great people. 1 stars because their work is good, but beware. April told me about their $100 palm size special so I made an appointment for my son's birthday gift. I sent her some ideas that were very simple and was told that the detail was gonna cost "a little more". There was very little detail. So I agreed to pay "a little more". When we went in, Jake told me it was gonna be 100 to 150% more because of the 3 colors. My kiddo was so excited, I didn't want to disappoint, but that's not "a little more". When it was time to pay, Jake went with the 150% more than the original quote. It's not about the money as much as the fact that I was given a quote and 150% over the quote is just money grubbing. Very poor business practice. He told me that touch ups are free, but I'm sure there will be "a little more" up charge because these people have no scuppers or business sense. April and their apprentice told me they would touch up an old tattoo I have so the apprentice could get practice. Just leave a nice tip. Purse Strings Jake said it would cost me $125 and that's half price. To give an apprentice practice? No way. April needs to stop quoting prices or Jake needs to stop upping them by enormous percentages. They do not work well together!! read more

I went to a few different tattoo parlors and the artists seemed indifferent about the art but passionate about the cash. The atmosphere of these other parlors pretty much said pay up or get out, they weren't interested in my tattoo ideas. Eternal Art felt welcoming when I entered the shop. Jake and April were extremely helpful in helping me decide on the tattoo and gave suggestions for design (if given the option for a "tap out," definitely take it). Since it was my first tattoo, Jake went through every step he was taking in the setup process and what I should do for aftercare. read more
