Abid was my tax guy while I resides in California and I truly appreciate all he has done for me and my husband! He is extremely knowledgeable on tax laws, rule, regulations and state & federal policies and procedures. He has maximized my taxes tremendously compared to how I was doing my own taxes with TurboTax. He introduced me to many other incentives and made sure I was eligible for other things based on my, "then situation"...short-sale home, child tax credit, apartment rental, etc. He made sure I got back money I was eligible for and entitled to in my situation. In addition, Abid also gave me useful tips that increased my refunds and maximize my employer benefits to lowering my tax bracket and saving on taxable income with a health savings account. Taught me how to plan for medical expenses amongst my kids and earn back expenses in return! My fiancée, Luke, at the time experienced a loss and received an inheritance that was taxed twice and treated as a withdrawal instead of a gift and I recommended he see Abid. Abid was extremely helpful even when he was uncertain of IRS policies, he asked us to give him some time to do research after making copies of paperwork. Within a week he called and said my fiancée can amend his taxes and get back money he paid IRS for being taxed out inheritance. He explained every detail of his findings, made copies of the facts he found in IRS laws, attached it and sent a signed hard copy to the IRS (electronic filing was not recommended if proof and other information needed to be attached therefore took a little more wait time than usual. Within 2 weeks, Luke received a reimbursement of expenses plus all interest incurred from the time of the inheritance to the time IRS was notified of the discrepancy on their part. Always quick and helpful. Drop off docs and have them done next day. Most places are that easy as well but this location is 5 minutes from our house and easy to access. Good parking and friendly people. Fees are reasonable and fair. I think a little lower than most....~around the $400.00 range....hint-give a 5 star yelp review and get a little discount! read more
