Perfect place for Taco Tuesday! The food is delicious, the location is a cute- hole - in the wall... there is a slight wait for the food, but at least you know it's fresh, and not just sitting around. The Fish taco was the best taco here, then it was the carne asada, then it was the shrimp! You can get 3 tacos for 90 pesos, while I know there are better deals around town, the food is worth it and the customer service is great. Martin, our server on Tuesday, 12/2 was super nice and attentive - he was great with my family and was super friendly! The overall environment is chill, like I said... with its hole-in-the-wall vibe, you can't judge this book by its cover. Sometimes it's these places that really make the experience and end up having the most delicious foods around. Be sure to stop in on Taco Tuesday, or any day for that matter! First, our server was super friendly and gracious. BWe started with house made margaritas. I had the Mango margarita. Yummy so I had two. We've been to a number of places j. Sayulita, Bucerías and Puerto Vallarta. This one kind of ties Mary's but for different reasons. We already has Açaí bowls at Organik, so we didn't order a lot but it was perfect and inexpensive. We ordered a 3 taco plate - 2 Baja style fish tacos (they are battered and fried) and a shrimp taco. They are a simple taco like stand with picnic tables and shade. They bring 3 little bottles of sauces to the table. We only used the mango chipotle sauce which they make right there. It was zesty and delicious. It's just a quaint, hole in the wall, little place off the beaten path. Tortillas were fresh, fish was delicious, the sauce was good and it's just a little family place. Ironically we walked a long way to get there, and as we left we realized that we were just a couple hundred feet from our hotel (AzulPitaya on the beach) the opposite way that we usually leave. We ordered a bottled coke as well. Total was 108 pesos. Super perfect. Yes, we have them a nice tip! (One thing -- very friendly but not fast. Just relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the relaxed little town). read more

This little hole-in-the-wall is right down the street from where I stayed. I can't say it had the best fish and shrimp tacos in town. Seating is outside, on the dirt, with flimsy chairs and tables. I also ordered the guacamole, which was enjoyable. Nothing horrible happened here. It was fairly inexpensive. read more

Most delicious seafood yet in a town of delicious seafood! Perfect after a day on the beach... with a nice cold beer

We were recommended to this place by a hip boutique hotel in the center of town, and as we walked several blocks were a bit nervous about where we'd been sent. However, this place did mot disappoint and we were stoked that someone kindly gave us the insider knowledge of this relatively new authentic Mexican restaurant with delicious seafood. The menu is relatively simple and features various kinds of tacos, ceviches, burritos, etc. we enjoyed a serving of amazing guacamole, shrimp ceviche, and the fish fillet special, a brilliantly curated mahi mahi dish slow cooked with white wine, butter, vegetables, shrimp, and cheeses. It was awesome and we still play ourselves the video of me oohing and aahing over the presentation and first mouth watering bites. It's not to be missed! The family-run staff were all very nice and helpful. It's an entirely outdoor venue with lots of local charm and personality. We can't wait to go back next the we're in sayulita. read more

This place is pretty good. The food was not amazing but it was good. I came here with a large group and they were extremely slow so don't go with the expectation of having a quick bite. It is a family run business with just one chef in a very small kitchen. I got the seafood salad which was very good and fresh. I would definitely recommend this. Best ceviche in Sayulita. Once I found this place I considered my day wasted if I didn't go there for a meal or at least a snack. It's location was ideal for stopping at on walks to and from the beach or town center. It's located just West of the soccer field that sits on the north side of town. The food is amazing and the owners are fun to talk to... I pleaded with them to open a similar place in Portland. Probably not going to happen, but I had to try. Don't leave Sayulita without having tried this place out. Even my wife (who isn't a fan of seafood), fell in love with the fish quesadilla and guacamole (best we found anywhere). read more

Find this place. I've been to Sayulita a couple of times and my friends have been 10+. We ate here at least 5 times and loved it each time. The fish/shrimp ceviche was incredible. Marlin quesadilla's incredible. Tacos...incredible. Beer...ice cold. Gabrielle, Suzie and Pedro are great owners of this establishment and will take care of you. Can't wait to go back and have more next time. May be a little hard to find. Take the first road off the beach north 4 blocks and it is a gem on the east side of the street. read more

Fantastic seafood, fresh food,clean and well executed. Best place to eat out of all the restaurants we tried in Puerto Vallarta, the malecón and Sayulita. I recommend the seafood cocktail mixto and the fresh fish ceviche. Prices are excellent too. Do not let its appearance turn you down. We'll be back. read more

It looks like a food trailer parked on the street in front of a yard half covered by a palapa, with a few tables, kids toys scattered about. It is exactly that! But the food is terrific, the service is personal (husband and wife, I assume), and you'll have a fine time relaxing, with a few extended family members (uncles and aunts?) hanging out at an adjacent table. I had the the house special, which was superb, preceded by ceviche, also excellent. There are plenty of more commercial restaurants in Sayulita for you to try, but you should take a break from them and try this place for something very special. read more
