Unser Restaurant…read morebietet Ihnen eine gutbürgerliche deutsche Küche und ist seit über 45 Jahren in Familienhand. Doch die traditionsreiche Geschichte unseres Hauses geht noch weiter zurück. Die Geschichte der Gaststätte Zur Eiche beginnt im Jahr 1865 – noch zur Zeit des Königreichs Hannover. Die Familie Wiese eröffnete auf ihrem seit über 300 Jahren bestehenden Bauernhof einen Ausschank und errichtete 1904 die heutigen Gebäude. Noch bis 1959 wurde Landwirtschaft betrieben. Im Jahre 1973 erwarb Familie Runge das historische Anwesen und baute die Eiche zum Treffpunkt der Bürger von Groß-Buchholz, der Vereine und Verbände aus. Seit dem 1. Januar 2006 sorgt die nächste Generation der Familie Runge dafür, dass sich alle Gäste rundum wohlfühlen können.
