What else could account for the billions being spent amusing us with armies of smiling geckos, psychotic emus and disaffected cavemen all enlisted in the equally grim science of distraction and pacification. All that by way of saying that I have been paying Geico like an obedient schmuck for years even after they put me through the ringer on a minor claim quite some time ago. (If you ever wonder what became of that kid who dropped out of high school in the ninth grade, well, he took his three cannabis soaked brain cells, bought a body shop and works for Geico as an adjuster.) Thankfully, a very nice woman named Joell from Ellen Nita's office shook me out of my insurance stupor and made it very easy to switch my auto policy. She's been sending me periodic emails for years. I should have responded sooner.
