The very nice woman who answers their phone called me back, as she had promised, to say that Brian appreciated my flexibility and would definitely call on the morrow. Now it's 3:00 "tomorrow". I have called the office four times, leaving messages at Brian's extension and at the receptionist's because no one was answering the phone. I finally got a human on the phone who informed me that Brian was "out sick today". Sure. The least I would have expected was to get a call from -someone- advising me of the situation. I would have rather just paid the penalties at the time that I filed instead of being surprised by letters from the IRS and PA.
