She has a very unique studio that you can't help but feel relaxed when you enter. Very zen-like, clean and comfortable. I bought a Groupon. I tried to redeem it only to find out there are no weekends available, ever. Her response was contact Groupon and go to another spa. Typically when a business runs a Groupon they are trying to build their business. I've never heard of a facial place not offering weekend appointments. And her response is very off putting. And whoever she applied lashes to was incredibly unhappy as well. My response to the business owner: I called a business line at night, not a home number. (Do you live at the place of business?) The instructions on your message is to text with dates. So I did. I ASKED if she had any availability, I never DEMANDED anything. AGAIN: I was texting & calling a business line, NOT a home number. I purchased a groupon and once I realized it was expiring tomorrow (wednesday) I called the business number yesterday (monday) and there was no answer and i was instructed to text instead, which is already unprofessional. i asked for availability on wednesday and the timing did not work for me so i asked for availability today (tuesday) and we agreed on 2:30pm as i wanted to allow plenty of time to get there from work as to not waste her time. she claimed that she moved clients around to accommodate me but at the time of confirming my appointment she asked me to let her know if i could arrive sooner. when i contacted her to let her know i could arrive sooner i never got a reply until after our original appointment time. upon arrival i realize the "business" is in a run down apartment building, which i was not comfortable with. so after waiting about 30 minutes i left and i contacted groupon to request a refund as i was uncomfortable with the fact that nowhere in the groupon ad does it list that you will be going into someone's place of residence for your service. i will include the extremely rude and unprofessional TEXTS i received from this person. absolutely do not recommend. very rude, unprofessional, and clearly running some sort of a scam as she also only accepts cash, venmo, and zelle. what type of "business" doesn't accept traceable forms of payment? wish i could give zero stars. read more
