Recently started trying electrolysis and have been exploring a few places. After a second bad experience that left me with scabs, I was feeling discouraged. This was my third try, and I'm so glad I found Ellie. She was incredibly gentle, calm, and caring. I truly appreciate her kindness and attention to detail, both in the treatment and the overall experience. It might sound funny, but during my last experience elsewhere, the technician was streaming music through an unpaid service, and I had to listen to ads every few minutes. Ellie, on the other hand, seemed like a thoughtful person who cares about the little details, even the music had no ads! Thank you! read more

Review After searching for months for ELECTROLYSIS, I finally found a gem in Ellie at her Esthetique Boutique in Studio City. She was warm and welcoming. She has a very unique studio that you can't help but feel relaxed when you enter. Very zen-like, clean and comfortable. She explains the process thoroughly, and honestly, and is so kind and personable. I went ahead and splurged and had a facial there, too, and my skin "blossomed" after. She definitely goes above and beyond in accommodating you and your skin and your needs. And, if you're afraid of having ELECTROLYSIS, you should definitely call her. Not lying .... It is almost pain free and I went to several others before finding her. Ellie's a delight and whatever you choose to have done, she will make it a great experience in a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. So glad I found her!! read more

Ellie did an amazing job with my electrolysis! It didn't hurt at all and the atmosphere was very calming. She was very gentle. Thank you!

Recently started getting electrolysis from Esthetique Boutique. She took the time to explain the process thoroughly, ensuring I understood every step and addressing all of my questions. The procedure itself was very efficient, and I felt very well taken care of throughout. My results have been fantastic, and I already notice a significant difference. Ellie is not only a skilled and experienced professional but also genuinely kind and patient. read more

I bought a Groupon. I tried to redeem it only to find out there are no weekends available, ever. Her response was contact Groupon and go to another spa. Typically when a business runs a Groupon they are trying to build their business. I've never heard of a facial place not offering weekend appointments. And her response is very off putting. And whoever she applied lashes to was incredibly unhappy as well. My response to the business owner: I called a business line at night, not a home number. (Do you live at the place of business?) The instructions on your message is to text with dates. So I did. I ASKED if she had any availability, I never DEMANDED anything. AGAIN: I was texting & calling a business line, NOT a home number. If it's your business line, turn it off at night! Geeze. Good luck! read more

Ellie did the absolute best facial I have ever had! You can tell that she is very experienced the way she works her hands. Not only is the facial incredible, but she massages you quite frequently and it was heavenly! I've never had anyone apply so many different products to my face. I am glowing! Also, her suite is so attractive and clean. She is a very kind, sweet woman and I am so glad I found her. read more

I purchased a groupon and once I realized it was expiring tomorrow (wednesday) I called the business number yesterday (monday) and there was no answer and i was instructed to text instead, which is already unprofessional. i asked for availability on wednesday and the timing did not work for me so i asked for availability today (tuesday) and we agreed on 2:30pm as i wanted to allow plenty of time to get there from work as to not waste her time. she claimed that she moved clients around to accommodate me but at the time of confirming my appointment she asked me to let her know if i could arrive sooner. when i contacted her to let her know i could arrive sooner i never got a reply until after our original appointment time. upon arrival i realize the "business" is in a run down apartment building, which i was not comfortable with. so after waiting about 30 minutes i left and i contacted groupon to request a refund as i was uncomfortable with the fact that nowhere in the groupon ad does it list that you will be going into someone's place of residence for your service. i will include the extremely rude and unprofessional TEXTS i received from this person. absolutely do not recommend. very rude, unprofessional, and clearly running some sort of a scam as she also only accepts cash, venmo, and zelle. what type of "business" doesn't accept traceable forms of payment? wish i could give zero stars. read more

I feel so, so lucky that the universe brought me to Ellie. Quite honestly it makes me emotional that somebody so talented would gift me with a face that looks and feels so beautiful. I never used to have much faith in estheticians because each time I had a facial done I witnessed no difference. Ellie really works her magic in a way that I have never been able to achieve on my own. I absolutely feel like a brand new person with a newfound confidence. I love the way my skin looks and feels. It's one thing to be good at your art, and another to be kind. Ellie has it all- she is sweet, loving, generous, and she knows how to make your reflection glow again. Do yourself a favor and pay her a visit- you'll get the "what was I doing with my life before this?" feeling the second you walk out that door. read more

Ellie gave lots of details on her location and how to check-in, and was very organized. Great set-up, very relaxing. She explained when she was going to do something that would feel warm or cold, so that you weren't startled. Had great music playing, comfortable table, perfect temperature. The facial itself was very relaxing, wonderful smelling and great feeling products. Even included a lovely scalp massage. Plenty of free parking on the street, very quiet location. read more
