Very surprised at all the 5 star reviews-must be posted by friends and family…read more Guessing customer service and appreciation are only based upon how big the policy is and the dollar amount over my measly $4,000/year. After our May 10, 2023 hail storm in Strasburg, I found out that Farmer's has a "marring" clause that I was Never told about by Michelle herself, while sitting in her office, when I transferred my existing policy from Castle Rock after that agency sold. To be pro active and avoid Any surprises- I specifically asked her if there was anything else I needed to add to my policies? She mentioned sewage backup and mold, so I added those. Again, NOTHING about the marring that definitely occurs during hail storms. I called and left messages, never got a call, email, Nothing back....... A person's word should be your word and Michelle..... you failed. All my neighbors have new gutters and garage doors along with new roofs, except for my home because I put my trust in Michelle's word and trusted her when I Clearly should not have.

Okay. So I received…read morea hail damage loss assessment letter for each of our two units from my townhome association Monday, Feb. 12. Our roofs were badly beaten up in a 2023 hail event. I took copies of the letters into Michelle DeCarlo's State Farm agency on Tuesday, Feb. 13 and I was greeted by Patrick, who has recently helped me over the phone with my new auto policy. I asked for guidance in next steps for my roof claims. Patrick walked me to his desk and Michelle quickly joined us. They brought up my information, got the ball rolling, gave me the number I had to call and told me to expect a return call. The State Farm claims person reached out promptly within the hour and was very courteous. This morning, Wednesday Feb 14, I got a call from another person State Farm representative who asked into which account I'd like my settlement deposited. Wow. Michelle and Patrick gave me outstanding, personalized service yesterday, and today I am awaiting a chunk of money for repairs I couldn't have afforded without proper insurance coverage. I have been with this agency for many years for my home coverage and recently added my autos. Some other suggestions were made during the course of my 30 minute visit and I feel there was a sincere effort to tailor coverage to our situation, ages, etc. Working with insurance companies very often sucks. I get it. But this experience blew me away and I wanted to write a review so people could hear about my great experience. ps I'm not a friend, relative or frequent review writer.

They have been nothing but helpful every time I have needed it. This is the absolute worse insurance agency I have ever dealt with. They are very unprofessional,…read moreunorganized and incompetent. They have made errors with my account that has cost me hundreds of dollars. I don't believe State Farm is a bad company per say meaning the coverage is good and road side assistance has always been available when we have needed it. BUT the 1-800 can't do anything but take payments it seems. I can't seem to get my issues corrected and have been trying for several months. They keep saying the Tammy Hill Office is the one to make the corrections BUT they have not. They do not reply to emails, they do not answer the phones or call you back when you leave a message. When I have been in the office they have been more entertained with the internet and what's going on with social media rather than speaking to me and making eye contact which is why my account was originally incorrect in the first place I'm assuming. State Farm is leaving me with no other options in getting this resolved. So with all that said State Farm Tammy Hill Office are THIEFS!!!!
