brian french of estero bay solar solutions installed our 4.3kw solar system at the end of last summer (2013), a total of 17 rec panels and 17 enphase microeinverters. we had a previous bid from a good company, but we preferred brian's technical solution which actually used the same rec panels, but proposed a single inverter. estero bay solar solutions' design is much more robust (without the single inverter as a potential single point of failure), and with the use of the enphase microinverters and its enlighten internet interface, we are able to track each panel's performance. in addition, brian continues to track the system to insure that all is ok. he also enabled us to install a 240v charger for our new chevy volt that we purchased in december. did i mention that his cost was less than the other bid. he worked with us through the whole installation, doing all the work himself. he took care of all the paperwork, including sending us a reminder in january 2014 to apply for the solar rebate and providing necessary documentation. he took care of all the permits with the city and pg&e. i don't think that it could have been easier. in addition, he donated his time and arranged for grants to provide the morro bay teen center with its solar system. he is very much committed to a sustainable future. marge and jim harris ps the pv solar system and charger system that brian installed for our chevy volt is exceeding our expectations - thanks brian read more

As a retired engineer and program manager, I highly recommend Brian French of Estero Bay Solar for his work on the design and installation of our 5.2kW solar system. After reviewing our home's power needs and our current power configuration, Brian provided a detailed design and quote. Immediately after he was on contract, he coordinated that design with the local county building and fire departments to assure their approval. He came repeatedly to our home, always showing up on time. Brian discovered some potential code issues with our existing wiring and fixed them.
