This stadium is really big and it's very comfortable. It also has big screens. Security is also really strict here, so you shouldn't worry, because inside it's not as dangerous as TV shows. Even so, I recommend you go on foot, never by car. Also, when Colo-Colo plays against Universidad de Chile...thats when it gets really dangerous, so you should avoid that match. All in all, it's a great place to enjoy the game.

Located near the Jumbo and Parque Intercomunal (the perfect place to celebrate a win after with a…read moreBBQ), this sports center (or better known as a "sports city" is super large with installations for any sports player. I have only come here to play soccer however, so I cannot comment on the rest of their facilities (although they all look very new and well maintained). I also have never rented a field here on my own, so I don't know the prices, but I have come and played a couple of games here via Ligas Femeninas whenever our other usual fields have been occupied. Regardless, they have 6 fields and they are all good quality turf fields for "baby" soccer. They also have good lighting for night games. At Iván Zamorano, they have a club house where you can get something to snack on or drink (although it is cheaper to head across the street to the Jumbo) and they have a TV to watch games if you are waiting on someone to finish working out or want to catch the end of a game before you start your own. They also have great quality changing rooms and bathrooms - super clean with toilet paper and hot water. I have seen they also offer training and soccer workshops although unfortunately, I have only seen them available for men and boys.

Every Sunday (except for holidays) of this past year, has been spent at these futbolito fields…read more Don't get me wrong, I am not a La Catolica "hincha" or anything, I just am always here because I participate in "Liga Maestras", a soccer league for women. Despite it being a trek over here (some might say you are getting into Argentina's territory...), public transportation makes it fairly easy to get here. You can take the metro until Los Dominicos and take the 421 micro to the entrance. If you come in car, there is a huge parking area. These fields are really great quality and were just renovated so are now brand new and ready for playing! There are a ton of futbolito fields here where on Sundays, both male and female leagues share the space. They have also just put in changing rooms and bathrooms for girls in the area - before you would have to sneak into the club house and use the guys section (it is great to see when a big male dominated power like La Catolica club makes changes to have women in mind as well). Tip: Be careful on game day. Because this is part of the La Catolica club team, game days where they play in the stadium can be intense. I have had to share micros with the "hinchas" - where they drink and jump while singing their cheers and it can be a little scary. Just to be on the safe side, if you end up in the middle of the hincha mob, I wouldn't take out your cellphone and keep an eye on your bags.
