I'm sure they are delightful people just misunderstood. Anyway I think the return journey which was spectacular in places as it hugged some beautiful coastline was just over £4 return. It was efficient each way, clean and uncomfortable as it was overcrowded. Thankfully the air con was effective so much so it was quite cold. It took over an hour and stopped in maybe a dozen places en route. We arrived in Benidorm station once through the, place your ticket, electronic barrier to form a disorderly uncomfortable queue for the one toilet per gender M and F rest rooms. Phew. All in all a grand day out but glad it was a day trip to Benidorm rather one from there to Alicante. But not a sign of a drunk or lager lout of any hue. Phew too.

Very nice train station in Valencia. The station isn't very big so it's easy to navigate. Covid…read moreprecautions in effect. Signage is excellent. There are also plenty of personnel to assist customers. A large sign is suspended in the middle of the station to allow everyone to locate the correct line. There is ample seating for everyone. It was fairly hot today, and the temperature was quite comfortable inside. Armed police visible, adding to everyone's safety.

Valencia has quite a remarkable and eye-catching train station. All new high speed trains arrive…read moreand depart out of the newer station, Estación Valencia Joaquín Sorolla, but that station is nowhere as impressive. Nord is still the main train station and if you have time to walk around it, I suggest it. The front facade of the station is beautiful and you can see history and culture through the ceramics and mosaics throughout. The station is small and easy to navigate. If you needed to get to the newer station, they have shuttles that take you (only ten mins away). Other: it is also almost right in the center of the city and is near Plaza de Toros. There is also tourist infomarion across the street.

Much smaller when compared to Estacion Nord. Six Platforms with a couple of Cafes and a McDonalds. Bring some change for the Restroom-1 Euro. They do have a security check before boarding so plan for that. Moved quickly for us around 1:30 in the afternoon. Taxis are lined up and available. Overall, ok for a smaller Stacion.

Due to our limited Espanol and "spontaneous" planning, we decided to purchase or tickets the day before our trip. It looks like we didn't need to, as the ticketing office has 3 people manning the busy area . The station is outdated but they do have your basic cafes and a McDonald's to suit your grab and go needs. Toilettes are right by the exit. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early since they do an X Ray screening of your bags/luggages. We took the "Alvia" high speed train and the trip was only 2 hours! Beats going to the airport and flying anytime ;)

The train station is clean, Including the elevators. The signage is clear and there are lots of employees to help customers. The restroom was very clean. The only reason for my 4 Star Review is the lack of seating both in the depot and platform. The depot has minimal seating, but the train platforms don't have a single seat. The enhanced security is reassuring as well. In addition to Security Guards, there is also bag xray for some trains ( I am assuming International?).
