This morning's adventure was to check out a different method of getting from the Barajas airport to…read moredowntown Madrid. It involved a walk, a bus ride and some more walking to get to Terminal 4 where the trains depart.
Once getting here, it was easy to find the Renfe area, purchase a ticket and make my way to the platform. They have very decent signage that points the way, turnstiles to make sure that you've purchased a ticket and a small number of seats at the platform for you to wait for your train.
During the morning hours, the trains seem to run every 30 minutes. There are boards indicating the next train, where it's stopping and which of the two platforms to use.
I did not find a free wifi here as it is too far from the airport.
