They claimed they had been there all morning but had not noticed my call coming thru. They did not think this was worthy of feedback or letting their manager or corporate know. I received a lot of push back. Why would they not think this was something that should be addressed? Same attitude about the inventory levels being wrong and unable to place an online order for pick up in the store. Workers Melissa & Bebbie gave me non-stop push back and horrible customer service, very unprofessional. I tried to file a formal complaint with both Melissa and Bebbie but they refused to take it. Instead Bebbie misadvised me buy telling me to call 866-593-3478 to make my formal complaint. I did so and was told that is was Sally Beauty Supply Security Interface. They advised that was not the correct number to file a complaint about Cosmo. So Bebbie lied to me. I am offended by their rudeness, neglect and failure to assist me or care about the company. I do not recommend shopping at the Shelby Township, MI Cosmoprof store or their online website. SalonCentric is far superior.

But I find myself at this Ulta location (and others) often. Reason? I have a 13 year old daughter who loves this place. The store is very clean and organized. The employees are plentiful and willing to help. In fact, sometimes you will get 6 employees asking you if you need help while there. Maybe it's a little too much, but at least they aren't short staffed like a lot of places still. The prices are good, and they are consistently running some sale or promotion. The best thing is their rewards program. They are constantly sending coupons to my email. In the last week alone, between my daughter and I, we had 4 coupons to use. One was $3.50 off $15, another was $5 off $10 and 2 coupons for $5 off $20. We used the first 2 coupon and bought $25 worth of products for only $16 and change. Definitely sign up for the rewards program, it worth it. The best thing about Ulta, is that you can try everything before you buy it. They have samples out and disposable applicators for you to try the products before you purchase it. Another great thing, their return policy. Simply keep your receipt. If you're not pleased with a product, after you get it home, return it for your money back. I love a good guarantee like that. The 2 Ulta stores I have been into both get 4 stars from me. And as long as my daughter continues with a makeup routine, I'll continue to shop here with her.

Another time I had gotten my hair dyed an auburn color (after always doing blonde with highlights) at the salon. I got home and HATED it, so, I headed straight up to Sally's and asked how I could change it to platinum. She got me everything I needed to strip the new color, fill my follicles and bleach my pixie cut. It took hours but saved me around $150--and I didn't have to wait for an appt! My husband LOVED it, and so did I! One of my favorite ladies who work there is Stephanie. She is VERY knowledgeable and will help you save as much money as you can (with coupons or other specials they have in the store). There are so many stores out here on 26 Mile Rd., that it feels like Hall Rd. (M59). Anyways this store is small. When walking in this store, Home Depot is nearby on the left and to the right in is Michael's craft store= so there are your markers or directions to Bath and Body. Upon walking inside I was not greeted at all by an employee like at the Partridge Creek store near my home. I could hear 1 female voice in the far back of store, in which she was working at the cash register. Then throughout my walking and shopping experience I was still never greeted or asked if I needed help or support for my shopping time. The store was nicely organized and not messy since new and old scents were labeled properly. I photographed a few of their new scent displays along with 2 or 3 big clearance areas. Annoying bad comment from me = The style of music and its volume was TOO LOUD in this location. Maybe that's why the only employee there was talking so loud at check out to other customers. I could hear her from the front of the store. Not sure why it was so loud. I like to have a relaxing shopping experience so I can think while I shop, read labels and enjoy the environment of my special and favorite store as Bath & Body Works. I did find the items I wanted since I looked ahead of time on the website for ideas and made out my shopping list :) Great plan ! They kindly apologized and recommended some of their competitors that might have it or that they heard someone speaking about the same product being at. How much more thoughtful attentive can you get when you are helping a customer spend their money somewhere else just to make sure that they're happy? Which by the way, Ulta did not have it either. I always get a Hello when I come in and offer for assistance. They point out the sales on products that I buy but I didn't notice, and they are endlessly patient with me. Because I'm one of those people unfortunately that will go back and forth for the register and keep changing my mind or forgetting to pick something up. Repetitively. And I never once have ever felt like I was irritating them. Even though I know I was irritated because I was irritating myself. If I had to give one negative it would be that I don't believe the staff is to well-versed on ethnic or diverse hair types/products. Though I have come to expect that in certain parts of town but it sure would be nice if I could Yap a little bit with them about those things. Sometimes they know exactly what I'm talking about other times I think it's a little out of their ballpark depending on the staff member. I'm not mad at them about it I just am hoping for change. That being said the selection of natural, curly, and ethnic hair products has expanded. They already had a great selection but I'm seeing more hair products of diversity being added in to their shelves which is absolutely wonderful! I would like to see some more utensils rather than products that are geared towards curly and natural hair. Again that's not on this location or the employees that's more of a company thing. Lastly I buy lashes all the time from the local pharmacy for at least 5 if not $10 cheaper than Sally's is selling them.
