I eat organic food, do yoga, rock climb, and meditate.. oh and used to take a lot of different supplements. But in working with Charley, I rarely take supplements and have found that I can have a bigger impact on my health by wisely governing my behavior. With his guidance, I have learned how, when, and why to do this. And with great success. I am soooo grateful that I found him.

Before seeing Dr. Cropley, I struggled with motivation to exercise daily and I was viciously self-critical on days when I didn't exercise. This cycle served to make my body stiffer and me less motivated because I wasn't seeing the changes I wanted to see in my body. Since starting individual and group sessions with Dr. Cropley, I have been exercising almost daily and I am no longer on autopilot - I'm in my body, meeting my edge during exercise and showing up to have the relationship with myself that I've desired all along. Speaking of, my relationship to myself has changed since starting work with Dr. Cropley; my inner monologue is kinder and more compassionate, and I have the tools to work with discomfort and procrastination. Dr. Cropley's teachings of kindness and personal honesty are something I didn't know was missing from my daily routine until I found them; the importance of loving yourself only becomes apparent once you look back and notice its absence. Dr. Cropley is a gifted healer and mentor, and I am unbelievably grateful for the impact of his work on my life.

I can only relay a shadow of my experience, but I implore you to really hear me when I say... she has CHANGED. MY. LIFE. A year ago, I was defeated and resigned to being chronically ill. I was down to a small number of "safe" foods. Chronic fatigue/stress, dysregulated hormones, bloating, weight gain and pain were my daily fight. I had inflammatory reactions to everything, including exercise. My ability to be present with my family, run my businesses with a clear brain, or enjoy a moment of life were all impaired. I saw dozens of doctors (eastern and western) and I always landed back on the tightrope of managing my precarious health. My symptoms and reactions to traditional treatments didn't match textbook explanations and most doctors stopped looking for answers. I sit here today... balanced, clear minded, full of flavorful foods (no more restrictions beyond my celiac disease) and immensely hopeful. I've lost count of how many "good days" I've strung together - a year ago it was mere hours. I dare to say that this is how healthy people live. Dr Sigmond took the time to dive deep into what didn't make sense. With each test (from my genetics to my mitochondria) Dr Sigmond unlocked doors, uncovered answers and ultimately made sense from mystery. She was kind, conscientious, gentle, and simultaneously stubborn in her determination to lead me to health. My medical journey has been the better part of my 46 years. I'll spare you the details... it was a snowball of growing illnesses & sensitivities. I'm happy to say that I have managed to shed much of that weight - metaphorically and literally. Whether your story is simple, complicated, or merely preventative... I truly believe that Dr Sigmond has the intellect and determination to optimize your physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

She explained to me that the Niacin cream removes toxins from your body and results in inches lost, but not necessarily pounds lost. I lost ~2 inches total after the first wrap. I'm not completely sold on the wrap itself, but the service here was great and the facility was comfortable. The main service this place offers is Power Plates, where you do a workout on a vibrating plank. It is the same idea as the shake weight, where you are fatiguing your muscles by holding movements, etc. Not particularly sold on that service either, but can't say much since I didn't try it out. I don't think this place is a total scam, like Jessica S does. But, definitely have any diagnosis or recommendations double checked by a professional. This place is definitely a little gimicky and sales is the name of the game.

I walked in and this place seemed quite unprofessional/ungym-like from the framed cut and paste collages of celebrities that use the power plates to the strange jewel-colored fleur-de-lis decor. This coupled with the loud, wailing music choice made it seem more like a tanning salon than a place to work out. When I met with the sales person/fitness expert after filling out a bunch of forms, she tried to delve into my pain about wanting to get fit. I used to be in sales, I know that she was trying to be a shoulder to lean on in order to find my "hot buttons" which she'd later use as the reason why I have join and get fit now. Like another reviewer commented, the sales person insisted that my thyroid was low. "Have you had your thyroid checked?" she asked. "Most tests won't show a low thyroid even though your thyroid is low," she explained. It sounded like she was determined that my thyroid was low. I finally got to use the power plate machine doing simple exercises such as wall sits and planks for about 30 seconds each. I noticed that the inattentive "trainer" did not correct my form on any of the exercises. Now I'd like to think I have perfect form, but I know I don't. The trainer seemed like she was only going through the motions, "push that button" she said dully and watched me as I stood on the high frequency plate which jars your teeth and tickles your nose. I didn't have a wrap (and wouldn't) because I know that any compression wrap will "shrink" your body through mere pressure, not actual fat loss -- it's a short-term effect. I'd bet that this place won't last long, they're obviously new in town and something tells me Boulderites won't fall for the salesy tactics they use here.

On top of that, a previous PT session with another person (not Matt) had been a little too rough -- something we didn't realize at the time -- and it made everything worse. The pain spread down my spine and into my ribcage until I couldn't sleep, couldn't move without crying, and couldn't even take a full breath. I was at the point of desperation. From the very beginning, Matt showed extraordinary care. He offered to extend my appointment by an additional half hour, even though he could have easily taken a lunch break. That simple gesture told me everything about his dedication to helping his patients. He didn't just place needles and walk away -- he began with skilled acupressure, using his hands to release and reset tension before transitioning into acupuncture. His approach was thorough, thoughtful, and clearly based on deep knowledge of the body. What impressed me even more was how detailed and holistic he was in his intake. He took careful notes, asked questions that went beyond surface-level pain, and even checked in about possible emotional factors. That meant a lot to me, because in my own work I know how often emotional pain manifests physically. To have a practitioner who not only recognizes that but makes space for it was truly refreshing and healing in itself. And then -- the results. By the end of the session, I could breathe again. For the first time in days, I felt my ribcage expand without pain. He also taped me with strong KT tape to support my healing in the days that followed, and each day I continued to improve. The shift was immediate, but it also lasted, which says everything about the effectiveness of his skill. Matt is not only kind and compassionate, but he has the kind of presence and bedside manner you'd hope for in the very best doctors. He's incredibly well-educated and generous with his knowledge, happily answering every question I had about his work and his field. You can feel his passion for this medicine in every word and every touch. I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. If you are in pain -- whether physical, emotional, or both -- give yourself the gift of working with him. He is deeply talented at what he does, and I sincerely hope he continues this work forever.

After working with so many clients, I was frustrated in my ability to guide them in overcoming the true obstacles that were affecting their weight, health, and body image. I knew that learning more about food and nutrition was not the answer. What I needed was a new set of counseling tools to really get the core of our eating issues. Thank goodness Marc David launched this program! To say I was blown away is an understatement. It has changed me personally and professionally. I really thought I had my food stuff "handled", but as I went through the program I was intrigued to see how the exercises and homework assignments revealed things that were not so apparent to me on the surface, but were affecting my day-to-day life around food, and my love for myself. The container that Marc created to explore these experiences was safe, relaxed and so insightful. Professionally, I have launched an entire new brand as a result of this training. I now have solid tools in my toolbox to work with food and body concerns on a deeper level - tools that I have since used with much success in my practice. Clients still come to me for the same reasons as they did in the past- weight loss, digestive health, meal planning, etc - but my ability to guide them in the permanent changes they're looking for has become truly effective and enjoyable. I can't recommend this training highly enough. Marc is the real deal as a teacher, motivator, leader and innovator. The material is so unique - and truly the missing piece in the modern nutritional world! I also developed juicy, fulfilling and beautiful relationships with many of the classmates I shared time with during the program. It may just be impossible to go through this program and not make friends and colleagues for life!
