Let's be honest, Woking isn't the most inspiring of places but Esquires stands out as one of the better establishments in the area.
It's in a convenient location, between the train station and the Peacocks carparks, so good for an early morning pick-me-up on the way into London. It's also just by the main square so also good for people who work in the town centre or are out shopping.
In recent years it's added tables and chairs outside in the pedestrian area which has eased congestion inside as it's not very big.
They do a nice selection of fresh paninis and sandwiches. The coffee is excellent, the milkshakes and smoothies good for the Summer months. Average prices for this area and they have a loyalty scheme which means you can get a free drink after getting a certain number of stamps.
The free wifi is an excellent draw.
The staff are young and friendly - Esquires is actually a NZ franchise and how it made it's way to Woking I will never fathom. read more
