From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly, and the space itself felt dingy and poorly maintained. I came in for another tattoo removal session, and while they do numb the area beforehand, they left me sitting in the chair for over an hour with no update. When I finally asked the front desk when my treatment would begin, I was told I was "still numbing"... with no explanation for the delay. When the technician finally arrived, he smelled strongly of food, which suggested I had unknowingly spent that hour waiting while he was on his lunch break. While I don't mind someone taking their break, it was frustrating that my time was clearly not respected. On top of that, he was cold, unwelcoming, and by far the most unpleasant staff member I've encountered at any Sculpt location. After that visit, I never returned and chose to take my business to Removery instead. I wouldn't recommend the Silver Lake location to anyone.

Say less let's do it." Chloe was wonderful and responded the same day by text and personally called me to answer all of my questions. I had a lot after doing my homework, and she was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. She sent me extremely clear instructions on parking and entrance and all these small things just make the entire experience more enjoyable and less brain-power to use which is always so appreciated. Joanne, who is Allergan-trained, originally from Korea, and has more than 10 years of CoolSculpting experience, was phenomenal during my consult. She assessed my body and contours with a real artist's eye and helped determine the best treatment plan for me without ever making it feel like a larger package was needed versus a smaller one. On treatment day, (exciting!) Joanne Keylsye and Tiffany made everything easy and super comfortable. They explained what to do before, during, and after treatment to get the best results and took great care of me throughout (wrapped like a baby in blankets and support pillows half the time haha!). On top of everything...their pricing was also at LEAST 30% better than several other clinics I researched, and yet their combined experience and training was high quality and top tier from ladies who have done over thousands of sessions of this and know how to do it properly. One thing that absolutely stood out was Joanne's incredible post-treatment massage. She takes it seriously and is very thorough, which was important to me after learning how much the massage can matter after CoolSculpting! Other clinic massages are weak compared to what she does and if you do the research, you'll see how much it actually matters with results. And do you want to pay more elsewhere for less results? That's what I thought. ;) I had a blast. I watched Korean cooking travel shows the entire time (even with Joanne haha! Giving me the Korean-scoop on all the places and food and her own history with Korea), took several naps, and was kept so comfortable I barely felt like I was there for a procedure. I'm genuinely grateful I found this MedSpa. Chloe, Joanne, Keylsye and Tiffany are extremely warm, professional, experienced, and clearly care about doing things properly. And it shows. Hands down best facial I've ever had in my life! I did the special facial for $200 last week and my skin is still glowing! I felt so lifted and snatched not only on my face but my entire upper body. I can't wait to go back! The only qualm I have is that the special facials says it's 2 hrs and the signature says an hour and 30 but the special facial I got was also an hour and 30 mins so just adjusting that online so people aren't confused. When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. Irene's Skintopia made the appointments easy, and they were very friendly. I believe it was Irene herself who did the procedure: 15mins for cream anesthesia, and only few mins for actual removal of millia. She made it look easy peasy! :) I was able to see the procedure and staff helped record video of it, and we all laughed because it was like Dr.Pimplepoppers. AWWW It was so satisfying to see millia popping out like a ping pong balls. We squashed it and said ewww. lol. What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. They cancelled my appt the night before…read more Just for context: I booked the appointments 2.5 weeks ago to surprise my best friend for her birthday. I even went out of my way to message them and let them know that I was booking for 2 slots at the same time - they confirmed and said they were able to accommodate both of us (screen shot attached). I only received a reminder/confirmation of my appointments the day before my actual appointment - text messages and emails (screen shot attached). Then I receive a text message from an unknown # claiming to be from the spa assuming I cancelled the appointment?? In which I responded right away to let them know I did NOT cancel and that we are still set to go to our appointments the next day. I kept texting for confirmation until I finally received a response 2.5 hours (at almost 9pm!!) later saying they are actually cancelling my appointments and that they are "sorry." (Screen shot attached). No rescheduling efforts, no NOTHING. So here I am, calling my best friend at 9pm the night before we were supposed to go to this appointment I scheduled well in advanced to let her know the birthday plans I had were now cancelled. It's truly unfortunate that I have to give a 1-star review because I'm assuming this is a small business and they really rely on reviews, but this isn't how you conduct business. For them to first make the assumption and insinuate that I wasn't showing up to my appointment and that I had cancelled? To then not responding in a timely manner just to let me know hours later they are actually the one cancelling on me? I feel like they knew they wanted to cancel on me and instead of just owning that upfront, they tried to gaslight me into thinking I needed to cancel. I'm just lucky that my best friend is the BEST and was fine with just our brunch reservations I had originally planned for after our facial appointments. I even read the other 1-star review where they cancelled on a husband's appointment he made for his wife and said to myself there's no way that could happen to me. HA! Jokes on me I guess (and anyone else that will experience something similar in the future).
