I have eaten here and the food was ok, nothing to write home about, but going here for a few drinks with friends, admiring the view is worth a lot. The staff is friendly and the interior is very Swedish summerhousy (yes, I made that word up) with white furniture, table cloths and a lot of bright colours. The beer and wine selection is limited, it's quite a small "bar" but they do have an IPA and a pilsner from Gotland on tap and some more bottled drinks. Last time we were here it was late at night plus there was a super moon out and we sat on the dock just centimeters above the water, nothing can beat that feeling. So if you're in Halmstad during summer, this is the place to go!

It used to be a cafè during the day, but think its not anymore which is too bad. If you come here later during the night the small dance floor fills up and the music starts pumping. It's decorated tastefully with an old classic library area and art/photos on the walls. Their salads are tasty and the coffee is alright, so it is a nice place to sit and take it easy. If you're sitting outside you get a good view of the river Nissan flowing through Halmstad. A downside is that it can get a bit dark due to not having afternoon sun, some big trees and the backside of buildings on the side. On busy days it can also get a bit noisy, but that is to be expected I suppose. As I understand it they are also open a bit later in the evenings on weekends and they do offer beer both on tap and bottles, I have never explored it during this time of the evening though...
