CHILA-KILLING IT - These folks freaking kill chilaquiles. We came twice, the service is fast and…read morefriendly, and the prices are supremely fair. And while small, it seats quite a few and is very well decorated inside. All my life I thought maybe you needed egg for the perfect chilaquiles but truth be told we got theirs with and without egg and the way these folks melt the cheese, it gives it this amazing texture not unlike a perfectly runny omelette. The egg is not in fact required. The flavors are rich, the chips are perfectly crunchy and crispy yet still drenched in salsa, and the meats and toppings just sing. Definitely by far the best chilaquiles we've ever had, and it's not even close. If you don't try Chilakiller's, don't bother ordering chilaquiles anywhere ever again because if you cared about chilaquiles, you'd have them here. Eat here, you won't regret it! Happy eating! -John Seeto

Yummy food - the food is awesome and the prices are aligned for the quality you get. I came here twice and had the following: Breakfast: Açai Bowl - it had so much fruit and fresh ingredients! The mango was on point. + Green juice and it was delish, fresh and made to order! Early dinner: I had the Roasted Tomato soup and the presentation was pretty and it was unbelievably good, I also shared the Chicken Baguette and it was warm, fresh, and extremely tasty. I also had as desert with coffee and a banana bread. Which was amazing, great presentation and good quality of ingredients. The decor and atmosphere of the place are great for a family brunch, coffee with your friends, a quick meal by yourself, and even a working session. The place has a downstairs and an upstairs. I will totally come back here and recommend it 100%!

Brunch is very popular with local street performers gathering on the sidewalk. We stopped by one night for a light bite and both opted for Platillo Volador - or flying saucers. These are pressed white bread sandwiches filled with any variety of stuffings. My husband had Double Cheese and I went with Longaniza and Cheddar. They were both really nice and crispy on the edges while still light. There was a good amount of filling and mine with the Longaniza was packed with flavor. Each came with potato chips and a side of pickled Jalapeños and Carrots. They were so good that we considered a couple more. My husband also went for a Champolas, a thick chocolate milkshake ( they also offer a malted version!) It was thick and full of chocolate!
