I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I had been receiving Candid…read moretreatment at this office and had generally intended to finish my treatment despite some earlier communication issues. There was confusion regarding my treatment and a voicemail I received about trays. I later met with the office manager to clear things up, and although we remembered parts of the situation differently, I went out of my way to apologize for the confusion (even though this was clearly not just on my end) and thought we had agreed to move forward. At my next appointment, instead of discussing my treatment, the dentist immediately became confrontational. He told me that "his entire staff" thought I complained every time I came into the office. Which is not true, I have mentioned it to the hygienist due to sensitivity or joked to staff to take the bare minimum off because I hate the feeling of an ipr. I have never criticized the dentist. I simply have concerns about one tooth. I was also told previously that an assistant had reported I used profanity on a phone call, something I genuinely do not believe I said, and the manager had not personally heard it. (Also went in with a smile on my face, with contractions and days away from giving birth. Because I wasn't seeking any form of drama.) As a patient, I found it upsetting that staff opinions were being presented to me rather than focusing on my care. When I tried to explain that there seemed to have been communication issues, I was interrupted. The conversation took place in front of my young child. I left without completing my treatment because I no longer felt comfortable or respected. Patients should be able to ask questions, express concerns about sensitivity, and seek clarification without feeling labeled as a "complainer." I also am not, nor ever said that I am seeking perfection. I requested another set of trays because we paid a lot of money for these and I have spent a lot of time to quit now. So again making me feel like I am asking too much for basic care. I hope the office reflects on how patients are spoken to, especially when misunderstandings occur. Respectful communication goes a long way. Assuming the worst in someone, without clarifying, is not a good like for any business, especially in medical.

The estimate was over $4000.00 on the "deep cleaning" I said I just want a regular cleaning that my insurance pays for like every dentist I've been & the estimate woman / *closer* says NOT in this office!!! She wouldn't even give me the insane estimate that was on paper ! *beware*

One Star -- Very Disappointing Experience I was a patient at…read morethis practice for more than two decades before my previous dentist retired. During that time, I rarely had any issues, consistently attended my six-month appointments, and followed the recommendations of my dentist and hygienist. Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly after the transition to the current ownership/management. After the previous dentist left, X-rays began being taken at every visit without, in my experience, a clear explanation of why the frequency had changed. More concerning to me was the introduction of a "Standard of Care" policy that was presented in a way that made me feel I had to comply with their recommendations or risk being dismissed as a patient. When I expressed concerns about patient autonomy and my ability to make informed decisions about my own body and care, I did not feel that those concerns were taken seriously. When I asked for clarification about the policy and its forceful wording, the receptionist told me that the previous dentist had supposedly been operating an illegal business and that this was why the policy had to be implemented. That explanation was extremely concerning to me, and I do not believe it was an appropriate or truthful way to address my questions. I also became increasingly concerned by the turnover I witnessed among the staff. Since the transition, it seemed that more and more familiar employees were gone, and there appeared to be almost complete staff turnover. After my last visit, there was an issue with the insurance submission, something that had never happened during my previous years as a patient. When the receptionist called me about it, I had to prompt her about what the next steps should be. She did not seem to know what to do or who to contact. I ultimately had to call our insurance company myself and have the claim properly resubmitted. It was then approved. Ultimately, I changed dentists after my last experience at Signature Dental, largely because of my interactions with the receptionist. I found her attitude extremely rude and unprofessional, and I do not believe she should be dealing with patients in that capacity. My request to have my records transferred to my new dentist had to be sent multiple times, and when the records were finally received, my new dentist reported that they contained very little information. When I personally went to pick up my records, I was handed only two sheets of paper containing very little information. After more than 20 years as a patient, I found this deeply troubling. My understanding is that my health records are about my care and should be made available to me and to the providers I choose to continue that care. I expected my records to be handled carefully and transferred in a way that would actually help my new dental provider understand my history and continue my care. I cannot say what happened to the rest of my records, but the information I received did not appear to represent my complete history as a longtime patient. That experience seriously damaged my trust in this practice and, in my opinion, demonstrated a lack of care when it came to patients and detailed record keeping. I want to be clear that I had a very positive experience with the hygienist, Jesse (if I have her name correct). She was the one redeeming part of my experience there, and I appreciated the care she provided. One other point for prospective patients: Google currently appears to list Dr. Dona, but he has retired and is no longer practicing there. My experience and this review concern the current practice and, specifically, Dr. Matt Gallup and Adam Milmont, who I believe are responsible for the practice's current management. The glowing reviews displayed on their website also appear to reflect experiences with previous staff, many of whom have since left the practice. After being a patient for more than 20 years, it was disappointing to leave. What ultimately made that decision easy was feeling that my concerns were dismissed, my questions were not handled professionally, and the receptionist's treatment of me was unacceptable. If you have questions or concerns, be prepared for what I experienced as an extremely cold demeanor and dismissive attitude. If she is the first and last interaction patients have with the office, I have serious concerns about the impression that leaves with patients and, ultimately, the practice's ability to retain them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Signature Dental.

Due to my spouses health some of their dental needs are a little weird, he didn't even raise an eyebrow just went "okay, let's make a plan that works". Then he eased my daughter's fears so great and even got her excited to go back. I had to have some teeth removed yesterday, I have very fragile teeth and don't take numbing well. He numbed me up so well my nose was numb . 4 teeth, 5 stiches, and 20 minutes later I was done. This morning I'm a little bruised, but I'm not in agony like I've been with other extractions. From normal dental needs, emergency needs, immuno/cancer needs, to odd issues like mine Dr. White at priority dental is amazing! His staff is friendly also. Plus your not out 3 months for help.

One Star -- Would Give Zero if I Could…read more I had high hopes for Deer Creek Dental based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Brian and his office was the exact opposite of what I expected. After a couple of missed appointments due to legitimate concerns (including dangerous road conditions), I made every effort to reschedule and communicate in good faith. I called early, stayed up most of the night worrying about it, and was upfront about my situation. I live two hours away and deal with chronic pain from a bad tooth--this wasn't something I took lightly. Instead of understanding or professionalism, I was met with rudeness and arrogance. My wife took the call this morning because I hadn't had more than a couple of hours of sleep. Dr. Brian was not only dismissive but shockingly disrespectful to her. When I took the call myself to try and straighten things out, he continued with the same condescending and abrasive tone. No compassion, no professionalism--just arrogance. I've never been treated with such blatant disrespect by a healthcare provider in my life. It's deeply disappointing when someone in a caregiving profession acts like they're above common decency. If you value being treated with basic respect--especially when you're in pain--look elsewhere. I wouldn't trust this office again under any circumstance.
