Lovely, classy lounge with great food options, wine options, and ample seating for guests. I had…read morethe fortunate opportunity to visit the LATAM lounge a few times when flying back to the US with Delta (who operates mostly red eyes from GRU). The times when I visited the lounge, it was fairly packed with many noisy American folks heading back to Atlanta, NYC, or Boston on Delta. Despite the apparent chit chatter, I was still able to enjoy my time here.
Access to the LATAM lounge can be have any substantial status with LATAM or Delta. For Delta members, if you're Gold or higher and flying either DL or LA internationally, you get access. There's also an option to pay to enter if you don't have status. I believe there's other ways to get in (DragonPass for example), but I am not too sure of those specifics since it didn't apply to me.
Most recently, they served one of my favorite dishes- seafood moqueca! It was tasty and reminded me of how I cook mine - with the right amount of umami, dende oil, coconut flavor, and hint of sour from lime. A pretty excellent execution on one of my favorite Brazilian dishes!
The shower facilities are also nice. There's quite a few shower stalls... but usually there is a wait, so make sure to put your name on the list for a shower when you check-in up in front.
Hope to be back here again next time I'm in São Paulo!
