The…read moreproperty policy on booking.com stated that "All children under 6 years old stay free of charge for extra bed". When arrived at the hotel, the manager said that we have to pay 20 eur extra for a child's bed. When I pointed out, that according to their policy it is free, the manager started to argue. She said that I am wrong, they have no such policy, according to their rules extra bed costs 50 euros and she makes me a very good price. I showed her booking confirmation where policies were stated in English, but she doesn't speak and understand English. When her employee read and translated it to the manager, she continued to argue and told that it is stated wrong in English and in her booking confirmation in French there is no such policy. Then her employee read her booking confirmation in French and said that it has the same policy. The manager's response was that it is Booking.com's fault - they mixed everything up. We didn't want to argue anymore and agreed to pay the extra amount. So, though there was somebody's fault, the problem was "solved" at customer's expense, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for reputable hotel. After this case the hotel contacted Booking.com and policy regarding free bed for children was changed. 2. The biggest problem of the hotel is the manager, who not fair and argue all the time. 3. The manager who rules the hotel DOES NOT SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH, so if you have any problem it will be hard to talk to the person. 4. The toilet bowl is set-up somewhat 10-15cm higher that standard, so that when you sit on it your legs do not reach the floor. Believe me it is awful! 5. The room and everything in the room is tiny. The washbasin "fancy" glass, but extremely small, so it is really uncomfortable to use it. 6. Pillows and blankets are cheap polyester.

Literally the worst spa experience I've ever had in my life…read more But before getting into that first of all the hotel is terrible and misleading. They claim it's 4 stars, it is NOT. The room is falling apart. Photos attached. They advertise four stars, but it is nowhere near this. This hotel is a complete and utter rip off and staying here was a massive mistake. Overpriced and terrible experience. Walking by the train station to get here at night feels like I'm in a rough neighborhood as opposed to staying in Cannes! Disgusting paper cups and Nescafé in the room. They can't even afford proper coffee cups? Don't forget the super choppy and unreliable WiFi. The lamp stands are broken and overall it's as though I landed in a motel in some janky city. Did I mention the door is jammed and I have to push with all my force to get it open. The blowdryer barely functions and is some cheap built in wall thing so a bad hair day basically every day here. I then stupidly also made the mistake to try out their spa as I did come here to relax. First of all the caliber of women working at the spa is well below subpar. They are trashy and rude. The first time in my life, I was ever forced to make a payment at a spa in advance of any service received, and that ate into my massage time. I went to take a shower after the massage and I was kicked out of the shower because they said they had another guest. How exactly am I supposed to leave covered in oil? Do NOT come to this hotel, and definitely do not come to this spa. This hotel is at best misleading and no more than 2 stars. I am giving one star because of the terrible service received in the spa. Also, forget any concierge services here. You're on your own to plan your time. Never will I be back and I hope this review keeps you from staying. Unless €20/night not worth it.

We stayed here in late June and it was like staying at Fawlty Towers - and not in a good way…read more This is a hotel to avoid. The only reason to stay here is if you want to be within a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and the beach - but I am sure there are better alternatives. Complaint #1: They gave our room keys to a bunch of new arrivals. From what I could tell they do not have a computer system to keep track of which rooms are occupied. Otherwise, they might have noticed that a) we hadn't checked out, b) we still had an unpaid tab on the room, and c) the room was configured with a king-sized bed which might not have been the best choice for a group of teenagers apparently on some school trip. When I complained to the guy who said he was the manager he reluctantly mumbled a barely audible "sorry" and blamed me for not reporting this when it happened (as opposed to a few hours later when we were checking out) - as if that would have made any difference. Subsequently we received a letter from the general manager saying he was sorry and blaming "human error" - as opposed, I guess, to computer failure or weather. Complaint #2: Their WiFi is useless. It was non-functional about 90-95% of the 3 days we were there. I overheard many guests complaining about this at the front desk and they were all told gibberish about how the problem was in the guests' firewall configuration. (See the theme here about blaming the guest.) I was sometimes able to get apps to work when their browser counterparts would not - so I suspect they hotel's firewall was not configured correctly. Complaint #3: Pack water shoes! The shower is enclosed by only a small glass wall so it threw water all over the marble bathroom floor - and we did not use the horizontal jets that would have made matters much worse. We had several near falls due to the incredibly slippery floor. Others in our tour group had the same complaint.

If you are 18-28, you have to apply for the 3 Days in Cannes accreditation. It was about 25€ for…read morethe experience of a lifetime. Writing about my time at the festival is going to make me emotional because this has to be one of the best moments of my life. I'm a huge cinephile. I went to school for film and worked in the industry for a little. I adore film festivals. When I learned that I didn't need to be an industry professional or millionaire to attend, I immediately applied. The application for me opened in February 2024. I wrote a cover letter and filled out a form online. I got news I was accepted in March 2024. 3 Days in Cannes is divided into three sessions. The first is better for networking and the third is better for access to more screenings. I learned this after the fact and had already applied to the first. I still really loved my first session because we got to see some incredible films. They had a WhatsApp group that connected us to the other people in our session. I loved this because I was able to use this as a tool to not only make friends from all over the world, but get tickets people didn't want. When I arrived they had us pick up our accreditation badges at the marina next to the palais. It was an easy process. We were able to RSVP for screenings and get tickets through a portal with a special login. Screenings opened three days before their date at 9am France time for us. We weren't able to get everything we wanted, but through refreshing the portal during evenings or an hour before a screening there were enough cancellations to see certain films. You can get penalized for not attending a film you RSVP for. During my three days I was able to see 10 films and a rendez-vous with Meryl Streep. I did try out the grueling six hour premiere line for Oh, Canada! and was able to get in. I saw some celebs like Uma Thurman, Richard Gere, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nick Cage, and more. I got some free wine from the Microsoft Cafe, free coffee from Nespresso Cafe, and a vintage Cannes poster from a 3 Days in Cannes Happy Hour. I loved being able to visit so many cinemas. They have one that is 25 minutes away called Cineum that was easier to see more desirable films like Megalopolis. But watching films in the Grand Lumiere was so magical. It's the biggest cinema I've ever been in my life. And the seats were pretty comfy too. I spent most of my day watching movies. If you don't have an accreditation, you are able to dress up and make a sign asking for an invitation (a ticket) to a film. I saw a good amount of people get lucky this way. I loved the way this space was set up. Everything you needed was within walking distance. The only annoying part was when you needed to get into the festival section and it was barricaded for red carpet moments. Note: you do not want to be driving near here LOL Attending the festival was one of the most magical experiences of my life. I left feeling inspired by all the incredible films I was blessed enough to view. I'm so grateful to have found a program like 3 Days in Cannes.

She gave us 30 minutes to take pictures, and wander around. The red carpet was visible, but the steps were closed off. There was a giant christmas tree structure 'building'. We ended up staying shorter than needed, spending most of our time near the beach to the building.
