They don't accept card payments and didn't even provide a receipt, which raises some questions. We went as two mothers with two young children (1 and 3 years old). The kids made a bit of a mess on the table, but we cleaned it up. However, we couldn't perfectly clean the spilled liquids on the floor since we didn't have a mop with us. Despite apologizing for this, we were scolded harshly. They showed no understanding, even though we had small children with us. I will never go back there again, not even pass by. Best bakery in the Stuttgart-Möhringen area…read more Their breads, pastries and cakes are always fresh. We are big fans of the Laugen Brochen, Mohnschencke and Nußschencke. Occasionally they change up the Laugen Brochen which aren't as good as their normal batch. The coffee is Hochlande which is a nice coffee blend. You can also get a very nice breakfast/brunch here.

They have all sorts of breads and pastries as well as chocolates. Eat what you get within two days or they'll get hard. Guess they don't use preservatives here which is a good thing. I don't want unnecessary perservatives in me till after I'm pushing daisies, ya know?! Like everywhere else in Germany, bring a tote bag to bring your loot home if you're getting a bunch of stuff.

Yes, their baked goods tend to get old quicker, but they absolutely do not use preservatives. Their croissants are excellent -- and I love their florintiner (they have a chocolate base and lots of slivered almonds in a caramelly chewy base...they are flat and round. They've received national awards for their quality!
