What a great experience! We spent two weeks in an RV from Meacham's and it was a blast!…read more By booking in advance and paying in full, there was a substantial discount. And, due to the pandemic, the owner (Andrew Meacham) gave us a better cancellation policy than normal. When we first arrived after a day in the park, everything was set up. The camper was clean - very clean. (Andrew even assisted in contacting Fort Wilderness to change our space to one we had requested and didn't receive). We brought many items that were supplied - so don't pack towels, toilet paper, paper towels - these are all provided. There were also coffee filters, but I'm not sure if these are always supplied. I would highly recommend getting a camper with an outside kitchen - we used ours extensively. Even on days when using the Disney grill having the kitchen made it easier to store paper towels, plates, utensils and food. Next time we'll probably go for the deluxe camper. Meacham's length of stay Golf Cart deal is well worth it too. (We also rented a fire pit, but didn't really use it). We had some minor issues over the course of two weeks which Andrew promptly addressed. As for the campsites, I'd recommend a Premium site over a Preferred as the site is bigger and there is more privacy. Staying in an RV saves A LOT of $$ on food. We started our trip at POP Century and might have spent more on eating out in two days there than we did at two weeks in the camper. We cooked most of our meals, or prepared meals to bring to the parks. Fort Wilderness has a lot to offer. We visit Disney yearly and usually spend a day or two there. Having two full weeks really added to the enjoyment. Biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing (we brought our own rods), swimming, horseback riding and more. Some activities that we've done in the past were not available due to the pandemic (motor boat rentals, the campfire program, wagon rides), but there's still lots to do. We did notice a significant increase in occupancy on weekends with many locals visiting. This did put a strain on the pools. Pools were nearly empty midweek. I highly recommend a stay in an RV at Fort Wilderness - and Meacham's is the way to go!

The first response regarding the price was just giving me the same price so I questioned what is the get best price button? I was told by Kevin that would be $500 off. I asked very detailed and specific questions regarding final out the door, price terms and interest rate. He only responded with the out the door price of the RV so I didn't respond. Then I started receiving text messages from Devon asking if I wanted to move forward. Again, I said I needed to know the terms so I could decide how I wanted to finance it. Devon only quoted me a monthly payment of $329-$359. I didn't respond. Again, I was asked if I wanted to move forward with the purchase. So again, I asked what is the interest rate in term? Devon responds with 8.9% for 180 months.!!! I respond with the figures and that none of that math adds up. Then this morning the sales manager James Spallino starts interjecting in the text thread and is extremely rude. Calling me out like he's smarter than me talking about something totally different. Very unprofessional and totally uncalled for. There are thousands upon thousands of RVs for sale. You would think as a sales manager, the goal would be to get one sold. Instead of trying to be little or intimidate somebody into buying, his role should be high-level customer service with the ability to understand and communicate financing options and negotiate the best deal for the customer. The one portion of the text chain below should give a good idea

They're a locally owned business that offers both for purchase and rentable options. We opted for the coachmen leprechaun rv that slept 5 of us very comfortably. The process was smooth, educational and comparably priced to others out there. The rv was clean, in good condition and ready to go. Pick up takes about 30 minutes due to instructions and ensuring all rules are known. The drop off took 1 min. Park, drop the keys and go. We'll be back!

*UPDATE ON RANDOM SURPRISED BILLED 2.5 Months later…read more I NEVER received a call or email from RV America account J.MooreHead (email). Left 3 messages and 3 emails. (Unprofessional) I NEVER received a bill until I begged and emailed ORL@CruiseAmerica.com, Billing@CruiseAmerica, Cr@CruiseAmerica, and other emails. Though never received a bill each email gave me a different answer. They all assumed my random C.C. bill 2.5 months later was a toll but they did NOT want to find out nor did any at first send me an itemized bill. I finally got an email explaining how $3.50 turned $16. So sad, the fees from $3.50 is what made it $16. As I said before never do business with lackluster service. I do not recommend this company and pray someone buys them out and takes over and puts the effort to take care of customers and have some pride in their business name: RV America

They said the cosmetic damages on the inside are not neccesarry to report/ note , it's "normal" Overall the RV is very used and old. Our storage key broke because of very used and bent locks. The lad at travlers assistance at phone confirmed that this is key #ch751 an we can buy it in every walmart. That's not true. After some hours we find out (after visting an other walmart and home depot) that we need a key maker. Meanwhile on the mail service at travelers assistance the lady said we used the wrong key that's why it broke . But we have a picture of the right key and the Lady /collegue at the phone and the key maker confirmed it was the storage key ch751 and the picture also confirmed it. So no assistance at this issue here. Furter issues: broken table , chpped paint, broken wood at the storage inside , very used and bent locks, very used rubbers at the storages, broken curstain, Nails outside, dumpster pipe broken (very dusgusting btw). Wet swollen wood at cabinets, toilet lid with damage and more.

I don't hate rental car companies, but I can say that it's rarely a "enjoyable" experience. Typically long waits, huge upsell attempts and a ton of paperwork. Well, that's not the experience I had at this Hertz! For this particular situation, I had to get a State Farm Insurance approved rental after totaling my SUV. After I called SFI and they set up the rental I received an email saying call Hertz, you'll all set. Doing just as they requested, I called Hertz and the manager actually went over my options to maximize the amount of time I could get my rental for (basically try to use the most reasonable size car you can when you have no idea if / when you'll know about your own car). Paul was really cool and very speedy. Once I arrived Paul had literally pulled my car up to the front of the hotel and had all the paperwork ready to go. He submitted the claim to State Farm and took my credit card for deposit, walked out side to show the car / existing condition and he handed me the keys to say...Have nice day. I was dreading the process before I got there and was I ever pleasantly surprised to go through a relatively painless process. Note, since I picked up the rental and write this review I had to change to a larger vehicle for 2 days. It was NO PROBLEM and they even went so far as to transfer a car for me the same day to another location closer to me and staying open longer so I could get it. This was a legit effort and one that was not unrecognized. Bravo Hertz Marriott Airport Hotel!
