Goat Lips Chew & Brew House feels like the kind of place that was designed after someone said,…read more"What if every room had a different personality and the backyard never ended?" And honestly? The vibe is the star here. This place is wildly eclectic in the best way. A huge outdoor area that feels built for lingering, laughing, and losing track of time, plus a maze of themed rooms inside that make every turn feel like you accidentally walked into a different bar. It's unique, memorable, and exactly the kind of place you want to love before the food even hits the table. The service definitely helped that cause. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. Then the pretzel appetizer arrived and apparently chose violence. The beer cheese sauce had the consistency of warm yellow water and somehow even less personality. The pretzel itself tasted like it had been baptized in butter but still came out bland, which is honestly an achievement. I didn't know something could be both greasy and forgettable, but here we are. Thankfully, I was aggressively encouraged to order the club sandwich. "You HAVE to get it," they said. For once, the hype mostly paid off. The bread was toasted beautifully, full of crunch and flavor, and the sandwich as a whole really worked. Now, the meat? Let's just say it had strong gas station cold-cut energy. Perfectly edible, nothing offensive, but nobody's writing songs about it. That said, the mayo situation deserves its own fan club. There's some kind of mustard-seasoned magic happening in that spread, and it absolutely carries the whole sandwich across the finish line. Honestly, give me that toast cut into strips and a bowl of that sauce, and I'm a happy man. Forget the turkey, let me dip carbs directly into whatever wizardry they whipped up back there. So where does Goat Lips land? A place with a killer atmosphere, great service, one appetizer that should be investigated, and one sandwich condiment worthy of applause. The experience averages out exactly where the stars do: right down the middle. Three stars. Goat Lips is average food wrapped in an unforgettable setting, which somehow makes the whole thing more fun than it probably deserves.

After a long grind of a work week in the Florida Panhandle, I rolled into Pensacola International…read moreAirport running on fumes, deadlines, and pure hunger. Let me tell you this airport is cozy. And by cozy, I mean you blink and you've seen all 11 terminals. It's so small if you miss your gate, you can probably still hear them calling your name from the parking lot. Naturally, I "ran into" Beach House... mainly because it's the only place to run into. But thank God it was there. I ordered the bowl and the wings, and listen I was hungrier than a hostage. That food didn't just hit the spot, it tackled it. The wings were on point, crispy and sauced like they meant business. The bowl? Cleaned it like it owed me money. After a week of work, that meal felt like PTO for my taste buds. Now let's talk about Kourtney. Airport service can sometimes feel like, "Here's your food, good luck in life." But not Kourtney. She delivered the kind of service you don't expect in an airport especially when most customers are one-and-done travelers she may never see again. She was friendly, attentive, and on it. Absolute pro. If airport hospitality had a Hall of Fame, she's first ballot. I know I'll be back working the Panhandle again, and when I do, I'm pulling up to Beach House before I even check my gate. For now 100% recommend. Small airport, big flavor, and service that actually makes you smile before getting crammed into seat 23B.

Disclaimer: I am only reviewing the bar…read more And that bar was awesome! The Pensacola airport does not have an endless supply of eating/drinking establishments, but what they do have works just fine. That includes Pensacola Beach House, a nice spot for a drink or maybe some bar & grille fare. We had a flight to catch and a thirst to quench. Pensacola Beach House met one of those two needs, serving up the locally sourced Pensacola Bay Brewing's brown ale in a bottle. A smashingly good choice! Though we did not eat, the service was excellent, and I did ogle the young man's street tacos next to me, which looked pretty fantastic. I was admittedly not hungry, so maybe next time. It is super easy to find on the only real concourse, great service, nice space, and not airport-priced. I think I paid $7-8 for a bottle of beer, which is not outrageous for an airport. Great spot!

The establishment is so nice and the decor is very relaxing. The host greeted us immediately and gave us some nice compliments also. We were escorted to our seats and server Tatum was there waiting. She introduced herself and told us a little about the restaurant and what they specialize in. She told us about the specials and took our drink order. We ordered the savory bread pudding Benedict and the Bonita's lobster roll both came with hand cut Parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the bread pudding. Wow, isn't your ordinary bread pudding. If you don't like bread pudding, you will love this one! It starts with a special type bread they make and thick cut bacon is baked all through it. Then it's topped with a poached egg with a special hollandaise sauce. Every bite was full of flavor and I hate I ate it so fast. The lobster roll was so tender and buttery. The roll was fresh a little toasty just enough for a little crunch when you bite. The fries, I never had hand cut fries that taste so good. The fresh Parmesan cheese and truffle oil took them over the top. They really take time to pay attention to detail. If you haven't eaten here yet, you must put this one high on your list. I'm looking forward to my next review!!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at George Bistro last night--what a gem in Pensacola! From…read morethe moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and upscale-casual, with great energy but not stuffy at all. We started with the ricotta fig and pear appetizer, and oh my goodness, it was incredible--creamy, sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Such a fresh and creative dish! For mains, my partner had the chili citrus glazed duck, and it was cooked to perfection: crispy skin, juicy meat, and that glaze brought such bright, zesty flavors that paired beautifully with the sides. I went with the cobia almondine, and it was one of the best fish dishes I've had--perfectly seared, flaky, with the brown butter, almonds, and charred lemon elevating every bite. The cauliflower purée underneath was silky and delicious. We couldn't stop at just dinner--we shared a few desserts (the variety was tempting!), and everything was spot-on: rich, not too sweet, and beautifully presented. The service was truly amazing--our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations without being pushy. They really made us feel taken care of. If you're looking for elevated, ingredient-driven food with Southern-meets-French flair in Pensacola, George Bistro is a must-try. We'll definitely be back soon--maybe for brunch next time! Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!

I checked in from my Marriott app ahead of time, and was able to secure a mobile key, which worked flawlessly. The breakfast area was well stocked with a variety of items, I was impressed to see cold brew in addition to the other drink options. There is a Dunkin' Donuts right next to the hotel, if you prefer that. Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and polite. About a 10 minute drive into the downtown area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We were only there 1 night as a stop over so didn't take advantage of it. The king bed was very comfortable. I liked the vanity mirror that had back lighting in the bathroom as well as a dressing station with another mirror with backlighting. It also had a counter to put your things on like make up bag & toiletries. A/ C worked well and the place was quiet. We didn't hear anyone banging doors. We had a view of the woods. There is a small outdoor pool and a gym which we did not experience. Breakfast was plentiful & I totally enjoyed the little quiches. The only negatives were the bathroom sink had little pressure and the kitchen lights were very dim. Also, the shower / bathtub floor was super slippery & I fear for anyone that is truly handicapped in that tub. Otherwise, Highly recommended & especially good if you are going to the Pensacola Air Base which is @20 minutes away.
