It took 8 months worth of curiosity from the time we booked to come here as one of the 'top 20…read morebeaches' to visit in Mallorca. Plus this worked perfectly because it's actually 10 minutes away by car from where we're staying in the town of Ses Salines. And do you know the pain it took to wait on a narrow as hell two-lane, two-way dirt road for 40 minutes in stand-still traffic just to park at the lot? The Saturday we came, the line JUST to park, was horrendous and what added fuel to the fire was that most of the lot was inundated from a rainstorm the day prior. Do try and find what works for you in terms of time. For an August high peak season, we picked up the lingo and their ways- so we know now. The beach here- as in all of Mallorca's coast, is pristine, €8 to park is for the entire day- but do ask, if you can head out and return with the same ticket(?). There's a small beach café(?)/kiosk selling alcohol drinks like Sangria, Mai Tai, etc, popsicles, and some fast food. Whether you want to work on your tan or enjoy the Mediterranean, this is it.

The main issue was the food and the conduct of the owner/manager. The restaurant served a member of our party fish that was not properly cleaned. One immediately ran to a nearby bush and threw up. We examined the dish and saw that the intestines were not removed and there was a large abundance of fecale matter in the fish. When we alerted the staff they hurriedly grabbed the plate without asking if he finished with his meal and disposed of it. Then the owner/manager approached us aggressively and proceeded to make rude and sexist comments towards the lady in our party who politely raised the issue. He accused the unwell person in our group of vomiting due to over intoxication (which was untrue). When we insisted the fish was the issue he used profanity calling several of us the C word and threatened to assault me if I continued to raise the issue. We paid the bill and left but I cannot stress how awful this restaurant is. The nearby towns have far better cafes and restaurants. Would highly reccomend eating at one of them over Es Trenc. The beach itself was lovely and is definatly worth a visit!

Parking is a hot tricky but we got a spot. It's cheap for all day parking. The store on the corner must make a fortune but it's great to get food and drinks before walking on the beach. The beach is beautiful. Crystal clear water. We found some umbrellas and hairs. They're only like 10 euros each for all day. We originally stopped in front of the seaweed bank so decided to switch to the next set of chairs in front of clear water. The water was very clear and a nice temperature. Especially since it was hot out. What's great is you can walk out tremendously far without having to swim. And it was still clear. We had a great afternoon there. I was sad to go back. Given how late sunset is in the summer, you can spend a long day there. Definitely recommend visiting. One of the most beautiful beaches I've been to.
