Another room I saw was more rustic but also very nice. The service is very personalized. The owner will go out of her way for you. The hotel is in more of a business district and very safe. But there are some nice restaurants close by. I chose it due to proximity to Cadorna station where the airport express runs from. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the station. You have to walk through a grassy park so if you have a lot of bags you may need to take a 2 minute cab ride. The train to the airport takes 30 minutes and the hotel will help you with the schedule and help you with tickets. I recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!

Heating and air conditioning cannot be adjusted at all except to turn on or off. The room is set to a balmy 24 C/ 76 F so we were quite hot and slept without the comforters most of the evening. Breakfast is not included and we didn't pay for it, opting for a nearby bakery instead as the value didn't seem worth the offering for a family.

Some other friends and also we read in online reviews, were less convinced about this people due to the safety of the area around the station and the fact that this is part of huge hotel chain and the rooms are small. As far as I am concerned all these worries people had seemed out of placed and unnecessary. There was no safety issue whatsoever in the streets; right outside the station there are often groups of young immigrants spending time together, but we weren't bothered at all. We walked with no problem around the hotel, to the metro and toward the center also in the evening, so relax, it's fine; just use the same common sense you use all the times. The hotel: well, it is a bit small, but it's an Italian hotel, not an American hotel, so lobby is small but service was courteous and with no hiccups; room is not huge but it's all we needed and clean. Plus, let's face, if you are in Milan, how much time are you going to spend in the room?? Our experience was just very good and the location is perfect, a short walk to station and metro. Also, if you don't want/need to go far, from the hotel to the Station there are several good restaurants to stop by. Some told me they are expensive because of the location, but although I am Italian, I live in Florida, so to me those prices were extremely good. We will be back to this location, hopefully this year!

The room itself was beautiful and feature rich, the cocktail bar is fantastic, and breakfast buffet was one of the best we've been to. The service is what really puts the PH over the top - everyone from front desk to concierge to bell hop went above and beyond and knew our names - we felt very taken care of here. The quirky and original design, with high-quality cabinetry framed in aluminum studs, features good lighting and a very comfortable, radiant-heated bathroom with orange grout between light blue tiles. Enthusiastic, very courteous staff members could at times follow through more. (Cream for the in-room Nespressso coffee had to be requested three times, and the call from the desk for an early-morning taxi to Cadorna station for the Malpensa Express failed). The internal, courtyard-facing room was quiet, a blessing considering the construction noise on the external side. For the price, however, the room is too small, accommodating not even a reading chair. (A slightly smaller bathroom would have yielded a far more comfortable room.) Also not expected was the malodorous sewer gas from the bathroom sink (also encountered at the Hotel Ripa Roma). Is that a flaw in the Italian sanitation system? And as Rebecca H. of Westchester County observed on Oct. 24, 2022, the digital thermostat seems to have a mind of its own and doesn't retain the requested temperature, so that the room was often too warm.
