What a lovely Park. A Hidden Treasure!
We have lived near this park for many years and driven by it numerous times. The other day we decided to stop by and walk the park. I am sol glad that we did. It is a hidden treasure. it has a small gravel parking lot with room for about 30+ cars. The entrance is clearly marked for the walk. There is a pavilion with tables and restrooms at the entrance to the boardwalk. The boardwalk is a raised trail above the park that takes you in a loop with informative signs about the various plants and vista in the park. There is a lot of shade from the trees and so it did not get very hot when we were there. The walk (~20-30 min) returns you to the pavilion. There is a butterfly portion as you exit with hand made signs with sayings on them. A very nice park to visit. read more
