If you're an engineer type like me, he'll give you a spreadsheet market analysis, if you are are more mood and feel, he will speak to that. 5) Great negotiator 6) Super punctual and responsive, we pulled off a 30-day closing window which wouldn't have been possible w/o Rich's professionalism I could go on. So glad we found him.

He was very thorough when looking at houses with us and pointed out things to look out for that we would have otherwise missed. He worked diligently on our behalf from the time we hired him as our agent through closing. In that time we saw quite a few houses and made several offers, but not once did we ever feel pressured by Rich - he very much works for his clients and is not at all pushy, which we sincerely appreciated! I would recommend Rich to anyone looking to buy a home in Greater Boston!

She prioritizes people over transactions and ensures that her clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the entire process. During our home-buying journey, there were many frustrating and stressful moments. At times, the process felt overwhelming and discouraging. Through it all, Colleen remained a steady source of positivity and reassurance. She was always reachable when we needed her, no matter the time or circumstance. Her responsiveness and calm demeanor gave us confidence when we needed it most. What impressed us most was her honesty. On more than one occasion, Colleen advised us that a house we were considering was not right for us. Rather than focusing on making a sale, she focused on making sure we made the right decision for our family. That level of integrity is rare and speaks volumes about her values as a businesswoman. Colleen's support went far beyond showing homes and negotiating contracts. She guided us through a difficult process with empathy, professionalism, and genuine care. Because of her, what could have been an overwhelmingly negative experience became one we look back on with gratitude. Colleen Toner represents the very best of what a businesswoman should be: experienced, ethical, compassionate, and deeply committed to the people she serves. Her impact goes far beyond real estate transactions -- she builds trust, confidence, and lasting relationships.

On a whim, we went to an open house in Melrose and decided to make an offer. We contacted Kim Perrotti and she helped us put together an offer (and get pre-approved!) in under 24 hours. Although we got outbid with that first house, we ended up getting the second house we put on offer on, which is unheard of in this market. Kim was never pushy and did not waste our time showing us any houses that we weren't interested in or that didn't meet our criteria. For the house we ended up in, we worked with Jay Morneault on our offer. With Jay's guidance, we were able to put together a winning offer despite there being 11 other offers. We are so grateful to Jay and the entire team for helping us achieve our dream of home ownership, especially in this competitive market. They know the Melrose area incredibly well and they helped make the home buying process as streamlined and stress-free as possible. I would definitely work with the Kim Perrotti team again when buying or selling in Melrose.

We were very specific about what we were looking for (what towns/cities, size of house, style, certain features, etc). She showed us, for lack of a better word, crap. Houses that were way smaller than what we wanted, lacking our most important desired features (like tiny or no basement, or no yard, houses that practically touched the neighboring houses). It was as if she was just pushing whatever they were trying to sell. We found a house we were interested in (on our own, not from her) and she instantly pounced and kept pushing it on us, even though the sellers were asking way beyond what our maximum was. Major issues with the house and the property were eventually revealed, and when another Century21 realtor who happened to be in the room offered us some honest advice about those issues, our realtor tried to hush her! My husband spoke up and asked the woman to continue, and our realtor tried to downplay what she was telling us. Talk about dishonest! It was a horrible almost unbelievable experience, and when the seller declined our final offer, we said we were done working her. She then tried to threaten us into believing we signed an agreement that we could only work with her (it was actually the Massachusetts disclosure, not an agreement - I'd never sign a document like that). She continued to email me for several months, and finally left us alone. We eventually found the "home of our dreams" through Remax with the help of an amazing realtor who put Century 21 to shame.

I was amazed with how well Ginny dealt with the selling broker. He was extremely rude and difficult. Ginny was always very professional and was able to negotiate the price we wanted to pay. She communicated flawlessly between the lawyer and myself. She was very understanding and flexible with the times we were able to do open houses. She ensured everything was perfect all the way to the closing date. I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with the level of expertise, professionalism, and knowledge Ginny provides. Thank you Ginny Kotkowski! Liars. Shady, lying liars…read more My husband and I wasted what felt like an eternity trying to buy a house from a seller using Connor Real Estate and they were impossible to deal with. The Connor agents that our real estate agent worked with told her that they could help us find an insurance company that would insure a house with knob and tube wiring (and they could help us finance it), they told us that the wiring did not need to be replaced; they told us that it had been replaced (it hadn't). They also refused to update the status of the house in MLS, despite having a signed contract on the house; refused to assist in getting useful answers to questions like "who owns the retaining wall in the backyard?" and "how old is that water filter in the kitchen?". In the end, the house needed more work than we were willing to put in and trying to negotiate the purchase was no longer worth our time, so we walked away and bought a much nicer house in a better neighborhood. To top it all off, after we walked, Connor's agents updated the MLS listing to state that the deal had fallen through because the buyers had credit issues and lost their financing - a straight up lie.

Having never bought a house before we were clue less on everything! We have very busy schedules and very type A personalities ( or at least I do) and after going through two agents very quickly that we didn't click with we found Colleen at Connor Real Estate-almost by mistake. My boyfriend was given a referral by a work associate for a man at Connor Real Estate that no longer worked there- Colleen answered and offered to meet with us that night! We must have seen over 200 houses-starting with thinking we would buy a foreclosure for like 100 grand and fix it up, to maybe something more complete in Lynn for 150. We looked in Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Ipswitch, Gloucester, Peabody, Saugus & Wenham. Our ideas and requirements changed daily and Colleen was awesome, always available to answer our questions, show us the listings we wanted to see but also finding whatever it was we wanted that week! After one home inspection that went bad, we continued and ultimately bought a completely renovated home in Wenham near Pleasant Pond thanks to Colleen! She assisted us every step of the way, getting financing under extremely rigid deadlines, following up with appraisers, mortgage lenders. We couldn't have asked for a better agent and would recommend her to anyone looking to buy there home in the North Shore. Colleen is the best!
