Very unimpressed - I wish I didn't even have to give them one star!! We went in with a detailed…read moredrawing including measurements, a positive outlook, and plan for what we wanted in a kitchen floor. We chose Cox's first, because they were the closest locally owned flooring place to home. We explained what we were looking for (black and white checkerboard) and were told that they didn't carry such a product. Meanwhile, my wife, flipping through their samples on display, found several black and white checkerboard options to choose from - to which our "helper" said "huh! i didn't know we had those". We then proceeded to ask when they could come and give us a quote on installation. When they found out we were a half hour drive from their storefront, our helper, and another guy who may have worked there, or may have just been hanging around, remarked that they usually don't "make it out that far", but that they'd be in contact and send someone out within a couple of weeks. After a month with no contact, we called Floors Plus in Burnside (at least a 45 minute drive from home in the opposite direction) who had a representative standing in our kitchen within 2 business days, offered us a reasonable and reliable quote, sent a team of guys out to do our floor within a week, and were very helpful throughout the whole process. They also didn't think anything of driving out to the country to do the job - they were quite happy to. Ultimately, Im glad things worked out the way they did. If I'd have gotten the floors installed by cox's I'd be worried that they'd apply the same level of customer service and attention to detail to the work, as they had to our initial customer experience. They still have never called us back (its been well over 2 months now) so i guess they don't need the business. My recommendation: call anyone else but them. Floor Plus in Burnside is a fantastic option, with great people and fast reliable service - as far as we're concerned, Floors Plus is now our "local" flooring retailer.
