Dr Mackey was very kind, knowledgeable, personable and caring, took a lot of time with me and I actually now have a different prognosis and treatment plan from him. The other surgeon wanted to perform surgery which it turns out is not only not necessary but was wrong. He never shared my x-ray with me or answered any of my questions or concerns. He said I had arthritis which it turns out was incorrect, I do not have arthritis or need surgery, just some inflammation which can be treated without invasive intervention. I would highly recommend Dr Mackey to anyone without any reservation. He is a wonderful doctor and his entire staff treated me with respect & caring.

Dr Cooke has shown zero interest in helping me even though I still can't walk and the "minor" surgery was 6 months ago. Dr Davis said he didn't know what was wrong with my knee and just wanted to put me on pain meds. He then charged my over $500 for a 10 minute visit where he showed zero curiosity or empathy. I'm so sick of the Michigan orthopedic doctors who only want to perform expensive surgeries, then get you into expensive PT that doesn't work and when things aren't progressing put you on pain meds. I have been dealing with a pinched nerve for a few months now and, after an MRI helped to pinpoint the problem, we are considering back surgery. I arrived early for my appointment and had a short wait but was taken in early to the examination room. When Dr. Graziano came in we reviewed the MRI results and discussed my current condition of mobility and pain levels and then he described the options. Since I have very little pain and good mobility he suggested we wait on any potential surgery. Dr. Graziano comes across as very knowledgeable and competent in his area of spinal problems. He also has a friendly approach to patients and exhibits concern as well. I would have no problem having him perform my surgery in the future if it becomes necessary.
