When I got engaged, I knew that there was no one else that I would rather have photograph our wedding. I remember telling Brad early on that James and I weren't the kind of couple that would be into cutesy poses, but after the post-ceremony oxytocin kicks in, and Brad gives the direction for a gentle kiss on the forehead, you're all about it, and it feels perfectly natural. He will take advantage of the light, and weather to make sure you capture the most beautiful and romantic photos possible on your special day. Throughout the rest of the day, other than the obligatory posed photos, Brad is quietly doing his job, capturing both the ordinary and extraordinary moments with professionalism and skill beyond compare. It's true that after the big day ends, all you're left with is the photos. It's worth investing in a photographer, like Brad, on whom you can depend to capture all of the moments you want to remember for a lifetime. Thank you, Brad!

I've gotten to know Brad over the past few months at different parties where he has been the resident photographer. He is kind, unobtrusive, and boy does he have the 'eye' - mushy backgrounds, artistic depth of fields, a flash that works in low light and gives a soft glow PLUS he has a know how in post production - what blemishes?! A rare find in a single individual. He likes to hang back but is of course game for those more forward with wanting their picture taken...I don't know who I could be talking about? ;) To Brad - You are the best! The last event you shot inspired this little haiku - just for you: artsy camera man how to handle poser me clicks ticks flash so soft

When we first met with Thom and Bev they seemed amazing, accommodating and professional. I was…read moreexcited and hired them. Their work was incredible. Our wedding was scheduled for 2020, Covid happened and we post pond the wedding. They seemed accommodating and had our new date available. We meet with them for our engagement pictures and it went downhill from that point. Our pictures were horrible; they were unorganized and arguing with each other making it very uncomfortable. We decided it was too close to the wedding and to keep them as we had already paid them the full amount and we would lose our money. I meet with Bev to discuss my plans for the wedding. She argued and disagreed with every idea I had. I did not want a first look with my husband even though it is a "time saver" I wanted that moment down the aisle to be special. She disagreed with me trying to convince me for 15 minutes to change my mind. I politely refused. I then told her it was important I do a first look with my father. She did not like that idea at all. She said it was ridiculous to do a first look with my father and not my soon to be husband. She also did not like the idea I was not doing any wedding traditions like cake cutting flower or garter toss. She said "what are we supposed to take pictures of just dancing for hours" I said yes! I want candid pictures of our guests having fun, talking to each other dancing laughing and having fun. When the wedding day arrived I wanted to be in the moment and enjoy it, Take it all in. Everything was going great until Thom showed up. He came in like a whirlwind so much negative energy! The entire wedding staff (Hairdressers and makeup artists, bridal party immediately tensed up and expressed how uncomfortable they were making them feel). Bev didn't even show up the day of my wedding. I had hired two photographers. I was told she was "sick". Later I found out she took another gig (in our initial meeting they said they do not double book). Thom tossed my dress on the makeup artist table. Thank Goodness my bridesmaid and mother saw and rescued my dress immediately and told him to be careful with it. I had to tell Thom to send the other photographer to take pictures of my husband getting ready. They were sitting on the couch talking. We only received a handful of decent pictures! They took horrible side angle pictures. I told them I did not like the side view for pictures and they still took 75% of the pictures that way. I had to keep telling them what to do and who to take pictures of! I was directing family and friends and organizing who was on deck for pictures! They stood around clueless! During our reception I really wanted sunset pictures. They pulled us outside to capture the moment, but Thom had dropped the camera in the parking lot and could not get it to work. While his helper just stood and smoked. After 10 minutes of missing our time to eat I suggested to use the second shooters camera so we could get back inside. We also wanted to take back light pictures with our venue in the background. They set it up so the parking lot was in the background of all our backlight pictures. They then asked if they could leave our reception early as people were only dancing and nothing else was going on. At this point I was aggravated and said fine. We did not get our proofs back until December. Our wedding was in the beginning of September! I had to constantly call to ask what is going on with our albums or prints. Thom was extremely rude! I had tried to contact Bev who was the person I originally had the most contact with. She told me she and Thom were getting divorced and she no longer had anything to do with the company. Thom yelled at me several times stating that we were drunk during our ceremony. That was a complete lie as we didn't drink until the reception. He was the one drunk! He was stumbling dropped his camera several times and was very rude to myself, my husband and our guests. We did not get our albums that we had paid for until the end October 2022! Our wedding was September 2021. I was promised to receive my pictures in a timely manner. When I told him how disappointed I was he began to yell at me saying he's doing it by himself and it has not been a year since our wedding and I was being ridiculous! I think I know when our wedding date was! This was a few of the issues we dealt with, They did a lot more rude and unprofessional things! DO NOT HIRE THEM! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I can't believe that I almost forgot about yelp and giving you a review. You photographed my…read moredaugther Jessica for her senior pics last fall at Borderland State Park. We had a wonderful experience working with you and the girls already have their "next" sessions planned (those being family beach sessions, college grad sessions, wedding sessions, future grandchild sessions - LOL). You were extremely creative, suggestions were great for unique poses and backgrounds, you put the girls at ease by guiding them through the process. Also, the nice, quick pace was exciting (we weren't rushed, but we weren't stagnant and "posey") and we ended up with so many options that we really felt that we had more than enough to choose from, and all of them interesting and different than the last. You were obviously excited, too and really seemed to enjoy yourself - in other words, your passion showed and I knew without seeing any of the photos that they were going to be great - fun and natural. When we did get the proofs, they were amazing! Not one in the bunch was bad, and there were a lot! And the colors were amazing - you really have an eye for bringing that out in a picture, even before retouching! Regarding the creativity of the session/photos, you are definitely not a "cookie cutter" photographer. You posed each of my daughters uniquely and captured their spirit. You tried things and didn't seem to have a canned routine - no stiff poses that you see all the time. You are very artistic and spirited, and balance that well with your professionalism - that's a great combo! We went to place an order for prints, and then the next great thing was the a'la carte print options. I could put together my own "package" and get exactly what I needed, unlike other photogs that have preset packages (many of which I have had to purchase additional prints to get what I needed but still have tons of extras I didn't need hanging around). You also passed on the 50% off special that your print company was extending to you that month - who does that? You could have very easily not said a word about it and made a nice, tidy 50% extra profit without anyone knowing. That to me speaks volumes about your integrity and honesty as a professional. I trust that everything you offer as a service will be exactly as you say it will be. I have never had a problem reaching you at any point via phone, just thought I'd put that out there... We will see you soon for a family portrait and I have passed your name along to many people that are in need of a great photographer, including some grandmas that have a few first grandchildren in the making. And my daughter has received many inquiries from Bridgewater students. I'm hoping that they are all smart enough to make their way to you.

I had to email her to ask for me CD. Not only did she ask who I was, she didn't realize she hadn't sent it to me and said she thought she did. I had to decide on a cover for my album three times, because she forgot what I chose then didn't have the material. She also takes reviews she doesn't like down from websites, insisting she doesn't know you or didn't work with you. I didn't keep my paperwork to prove that she was my wedding photographer-- I have the album though. She'll probably try to get his one off Yelp when she sees it. Again, the pictures are beautiful, but she needs a secretary or someone to organize her.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Kevin as a wedding photographer. My husband and I spent…read moremany hours researching and vetting different photographers, so our decision to hire Kevin was a careful one. We have no regrets and would hire him again in a second. Here's why: PRODUCT OUTPUT: Ultimately, what you care about most is the photographs that get produced, and Kevin's are of the highest quality. They are the perfect balance of art and beauty without being too dramatic and over the top. He's particularly good at capturing candids, which was a major reason we hired him. Several of my friends complimented his work when they saw our photos, and one friend even said that seeing our photos made her really regret her own wedding photographer choice. The album he made for us was gorgeous and really went above and beyond what I've seen in other albums. I have been so proud to show people our wedding photos, and that is thanks to Kevin. FLEXIBILITY: Outstanding. I had so many tiny little requests and Kevin readily accommodated every single one, from planning things beforehand to tinkering with the photos after. He was so patient with my frequent indecisiveness and when we took forever to pick photos for our album. I am pretty sure we actually exceeded the amount of time specified in the contract and he never gave us a hard time about it (or anything). RELIABILITY/FOLLOW THROUGH: Excellent. Every time we asked Kevin to do something, he did it, exactly as we'd asked. The peace of mind of knowing we could count on him was wonderful on our wedding day. He adhered to our schedule, made sure to capture all of the photos we had planned to take, and respected our requests when certain people asked not to be photographed, etc. COST: You get what you pay for. We found his rates to be comparable to other photographers of his quality (actually, his rates were less than some others we felt were of equal quality). He also doesn't nickel and dime you, which is great. He's very up front about how much everything costs and doesn't deviate from that. If anything, he gives you more than you pay for (like the slideshow you can send to friends and family!). COMMUNICATION: Pretty good. Sometimes he takes a few days to reply to emails, but nothing beyond the realm of what's reasonable, and I was no better, so I can't complain. When we first met him this made me a little nervous (because I didn't yet know how reliable he is), so if you have this experience, definitely don't hold it against him. PERSONABLENESS/PROFESSIONALISM: Awesome. Kevin is an easy-going guy that we found ourselves very comfortable with from the get-go. We met with three different photographers after whittling down our list, and although we liked all three, we both knew that Kevin was our guy after talking to him. He is very respectful and did an outstanding job of being unobtrusive during the wedding--we hardly noticed him (or his assistant) at all. He also made us feel very at ease throughout the entire planning process. We loved working with Kevin and can't recommend him enough!
