Would give 0 starts if I could. Lazy would be the word I would use to describe Dr. Graffino and…read moreher practice. When going to her office, Dr. Graffino was not welcoming and did not even make eye contact with me initially. My Mother and I had a number of questions and concerns we wanted to ask, and she put all of them off and was very short with us and made it sounds like our questions were dumb. I had an allergy test done to see what I'm allergic to and she didn't even go over the report with me during the visit. I had to ask her in MYCHART after the visit to tell me the results. When asking if shots were a viable option, she responded, "well, its a commitment", which didn't answer my question. She also responded to questions we had with, "sometimes doctors don't have answers" and "sometimes these things just happen", which is completely unacceptable as I have been struggling to breathe for the past 26 days. Her watch kept going off, which kept distracting her during my visit. My mother asked at one point if the allergies that I might have would affect my breathing. Dr. Graffino responded with "i guess", and then said, "it can". With my difficulties breathing, we had to get up twice to walk to her office instead of her coming to the exam room like every other doctor that I've been to. Not once did she get up out of her chair to exam me or to check for anything. When asking her, what happens if my blood work for my immune system comes back normal but still having trouble breathing, she responded with "didn't I just explain that to you". I was already on Claritan D before the visit and she didnt ask me how that worked for me and her recommendation to me was to take Xyxal, on OTC medication for allergies. I asked the pharmacist if Xyxal was a stronger allergy medication and she told me it was in the same class, so no. Everything about this visit was unprofessional. Would never recommend anyone to see her. Stay away at all costs.

She quickly prescribed a course of treatment that greatly alleviated my discomfort, and was responsive when the first course of medication had to be changed. She was accessible after hours when I needed her for an emergency. I found it very easy to deal with her staff and to make an appointment. She was prompt, listened to my description of symptoms, carefully explained what she was recommending and why, and gave me a strategy to deal with my chronic hives. I found her to be kind, professional and with a great sense of humor. I have been to several allergists through the years for my hives and she's the absolute best! Thank goodness my primary care physician recommended her.

If I could give her negative stars, I would. I don't understand the positive reviews, maybe we saw…read moredifferent doctors? but I do see they are old reviews. I am a cancer survivor and current cancer patient. My mom had skin cancer. My longtime dermatologist retired, and I sought reviews for a competent doctor, one that takes their time and is meticulous and detailed. This doctor was recommended. She seems to have experience and good credentials. There are a few areas of concern on my skin, and given my many diagnoses, I am anxious when I go to any doctor. First, she was very quick. I think the whole exam took 5 minutes. She didn't seem concerned about my health history. She didn't ask what meds I was on or prior meds, one which heightens your risk of skin cancer. She didn't even look at the back of my legs or move my underwear. She commented on my prior tanning in my youth and gave me the customary talk about using sun screen. I brought up the areas of concern, but she wasn't interested, and kind of blew them off, no explaination. One area is prevalent on my face. As for the staff, they are young and neutral, no care. I have seen many doctors due to my health history, this is one I would never recommend. I will notify my insurance company about my visit as this was my annual, and I need to have another competent doctor re-do the exam.

I am extremely disappointed by the visit I had with Dr. Almeida. Dr. Almeida spent less than 5…read moreminutes with me for an annual skin exam. This was NOT a thorough examination especially after I had stated in the beginning of the appointment I had not been to a dermatologist in 5 years. She did not check my scalp, in between my toes, or even touch my skin at all. She quickly glanced from afar and said nothing looked suspicious. The only thing of concern she said to me during the exam was that she can tell I had used a tanning bed in my earlier years and so I'm a greater risk yet still only quickly glanced over my skin and told me I don't need to have another dermatologist appointment for atleast 5 years. I called the office manager, Nancy, to share my disappointment and ask for another appointment with a different doctor. The one star in this review is for Nancy, otherwise I would have given zero stars. Nancy was prompt, friendly, and tried to find a solution. When I was speaking with Nancy she read Dr.Almeida's appointment notes back to me where she said she examined the palms of my hands, my head, amongst other places. This is inaccurate as she did not do these things. I was offered another appointment with Dr. Almeida. I asked to meet with another doctor and the request was denied. I will be taking my business elsewhere. She does not deserve payment for the "examination" that gives her the "doctor" title.

I was told that I have a notch out at 4kHz and was recommended to purchase the protective custom ear plugs that comes with 2 types of plugs but you can trade them out at any time. I purchased them and got fitted with the molds. It took about 3-4 weeks to receive them which was expected. I tried them on and were great! After getting home and using them more during my music gigs I found that they were a little too good at making things quiet so I called to swap out the 2 plugs I had for less-intense ones. I called 9 times over the course of 2.5 months, left voice messages, and tried to get in touch with them. The audiologist was absent and impossible to get a hold of once I spent $360+ on plugs. I was even waiting for them to bill it through my insurance. When I finally did get to talk to the audiologist who sold me the ear protection he assured me he will order the new plugs and that they are working to bill the insurance. I followed up a month and a half AFTER that last conversation and was told the same song and dance yet nothing was getting done about this and after 4 months of failed attempts at communicating with them, I filed a chargeback claim with my credit card to which they never responded or disputed so I got my money back. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS. I was lead on and then tossed aside after they got my business. There are far better places that will not treat you this way you can go to.
