He answered the phone promptly himself and was everything you want an agent to be. I was very impressed as to how thorough, organized and efficient he is. In my 5 years with this agency, my time with them has been progressively worse and worse over the years. I first felt a lot of frustration when I found out they had placed a discount that was never suppose to be on my account, but also removed it without warning so my bill unknowingly changed over $50 out of nowhere and their reason was that they had a discount that shouldn't have been there and took it off. Eric Anderson himself had the audacity to say if anything they've done me a favor despite not recognizing how changing a fee without notification, regardless of error, is going to mess up someone's finances. That decision has the ability to put some people in the hole if not planned for. I told them I wasn't notified and they didn't even care. I tried to put it aside because in the end, their mistake probably did save me money overall. I most recently had another issue where I moved and I asked the lady if moving will impact anything and if there's anything else that needs to be done regarding my renters and auto insurance. She said no. And a month later I was slapped with a higher monthly fee including a one time fee for the move/change and another fee for moving in general, both of which I was not informed of again. This was frustrating because if someone would have informed me, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal but instead I had to find out and seek out answers on my own. I called them, a different lady spoke to me and told me what the fees are and that the first lady should have said something. She said she would have that lady call me back in a week when she's back from vacation. It's been over 2 weeks and no call. In general, my time with the staff and main agent have not been very positive. I have not felt like a valued despite being with State Farm since I was 16 in my home state. I don't recommend this agency and am switching to a new one. Based on the reviews I'm seeing now, it looks like I'm not the only one with a negative experience with him and his staff. read more

I moved to Cali from Illinois and I was given an initial quote and then my bill was $183 more than my quote. I argued and they said I couldn't get all the discounts. The COVID premium reduction brought it back down to my original quote. The next 6 month policy they said I was receiving all of the discounts previously and my premium reduced dramatically compared to the previous 6 months. None of it made sense. Then a moving violation popped up on my record from 2018.. 3 years ago that shouldn't have been on my record and my premium increases $250 for the 6 months for one violation on a clean record. On top of that I've had to call constantly to get my premium corrected in the system. Stay away from this office at all costs. If you don't catch the "glitches" they will be happy to take your money. When I said I'd have to get insurance somewhere else and would move home and 2 additional cars elsewhere, I was pretty much met with "bye don't let the door hit you on you're way out" attitude. Worst State Farm experience I've ever had and I've been with them for over 20 years. read more

State Farm is good but I did not have a good experience with this office. Phyllis is the difficult agent to work with. The emails that she sends me sometimes are in a unprofessional, multicolored strange format. Other times they're just hard to read/comprehend in genera. I called again asking for him and was told, okay ill tell him you called again, with no response again. I had Eric Anderson as my agent for years. First, we discovered he had input the wrong data in our home insurance and over charged us. This was nothing we could have discovered. On an annual review with him we discovered the error and asked for our money back we were over charged. He said there was nothing he could do because of the underwriting department. It was not worth the fight at the time. I was willing to give a benefit of the doubt to a mistake. However, I believe since the mistake was as he put it "my fat fingers inputting the wrong data" we should have gotten our money back. Then we get two different bills in two weeks for the same car. After paying the bill, I called his office to find out why (I first thought I had entered the wrong data in my bank). I was told that Jiffy Lube had reported my mileage 100k above what it actually is and I would have to prove otherwise. I then found out his assistant had called my spouse 2 weeks before and was vague about a mileage discrepancy. We once again confirmed our mileage and was told "okay". But our bill was jacked up anyway. When I talked to Eric he first told me what happened did not happen and I would have just been issued a different policy - not get two bills. It was clear he did not even look at my issue before talking to me as the bills were clearly there! Then he said sorry must "be fat fingers". His fat fingers seem to cause suspicious increases in people's bills with the unwillingness to refund money due to his mistakes. Don't use this agent and check you bills carefully! Question each and every possible entry he can make because he just says sorry and keeps your money. Even if you report your mileage on time - call every time and ask them for the mileage they are basing it on. Googling Jiffy Lune and State Farm I found out this is a common and well known issue! Still waiting to get a response if I will get my money back this time. read more

We have been customers of State Farm for almost 40 years. When our original agent retired, we were assigned to several other agents over the years who were glad to accept our premiums but were only names on routine correspondence. When we attempted to schedule a meeting with the last of these agents she stood us up not only once but twice. We decided to find an agent closer to home with whom we could make personal contact and met Eric Anderson. We have been extremely impressed. Even though his office had just been broken into and looted a few days before, we had our initial meeting where he took lots of time getting to know us, determine our needs and giving us information about himself. He reviewed all our policies (3 auto, umbrella, home owner, 3 rental) and found most of them needed anywhere from minor adjustments to major changes. Eric personally visited every property we owned. He gave us our options tempered with his professional experience so that we could make the final decisions that would be best for us. To our surprise, some policies actually had increased coverage but a reduced premium. When we had a personal or phone appointment, Eric was always on time down to the minute.
