Furthermore, I tried to look into what they were feeding their animals, Rowe Farms is not certified organic (yet they charge organic prices), head office basically gave me the run around. They "try to avoid GMOs" in their animal feed. At the end of the day there are so many fantastic new butcher shops opening up that pride themselves in transparency. Give these guys a pass, the company has gone to the dogs since someone from Loblaws became the CEO. Glorified middleman that you pay a premium for, that is all Rowe Farms is now.

Only here have I seen such a wild array of goods from all over the world that you won't find anywhere else. Exotic cheese? They got it. Premium Ginger Beer? Of course they do. Korean snacks and instant ramen? This is the place to check out. From plumbing supplies to rice cakes Busy Bee has it all. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff are and how professional they are handling their customers. Given their location on the corner of King and Bathursts entertainment district and being open 24 hours, they get a lot of party animals on weekends and the occasional panhandler sitting outside their doors.

Once at 11:00pm I realized that I needed a blank CD to load some files onto for the next day. With everything else closed, I took my last shot with Busy Bee. They were open and the only question they had in response to my blank CD request is "how many you need?" Definitely what you want to hear. It's a large store with a wide range of merchandise that will help you out in those emergency times of need. The staff are efficient in their manner and will help where they can. It does have the tired look of a place that is open 24 hours, but you'd be exhausted to, if you worked around the clock.

With so many of us staying at home we are very relied on services like FCF to deliver us much needed weekly produce and groceries to keep us fed. They are always timely with their deliveries and have never been later than they said they were going to be. They give you a wide range (till midnight of the day you are supposed to get your items) and if you plan ahead properly and make their delivery schedule work for you then you should be golden. I also love that they give the produce in a cardboard box that is easily recyclable or can be used for storage. Lastly their products are very high quality. Our household was never a real organic food household due to the price point but FCF makes it very affordable to get high quality ingredients and raw organic vegetables, which make you feel better after eating your meal. I very much look forward to our weekly delivery!

The herb shelf was so cool- I only wish the herbs were labeled so amateur cooks like me will be able to easily identify which herbs are what and can learn too. I like how I can refer friends where I provide them a discount and I can also earn credits when they sign up. An area of improvement would be if I could drop off the bag at a nearby hub (just like I can pick up at a nearby hub) instead of having to go all the way downtown to return it. I know I can have it picked up at the next delivery and the time limit they offer to not be charged yet is a long time, so it's not an issue but always offering more options to customers is a good idea. I'm excited for the opening of their new location and hope to visit once it kicks off in November.
