We were looking to…read moremove to Asheville from Arizona, and Luiz was quick to find us many home options in our price range. When we toured homes with us, he was thorough and showed us the pros and cons of each home. You could tell he genuinely cared about getting us the home we needed vs trying to make a quick sale. His kindness and integrity really stood out to us! Our 5 year old son also loved him, and Luiz took the time to converse with our two children and make them feel comfortable. We only got to work with Jessi via email but loved every interaction we had with her. She was quick, thorough, and intelligent. We are so grateful they helped us find our dream home!

I would not recommend Amy Giles who is lead broker at this location. I found a listing on Zillow…read morefor which she is listed as listing agent. I send her an email requesting that she please send me the floor-plan. I found her to be lazy because she emailed me back telling me to look it up on the MLS. Well frankly I find her lazy or lacking common sense because if I had access to the MLS then I would not have contacted her for the info in the first place! I hurt her feelings because I responded with the true and honest fact that I found her irritating and had to tell her I'm a buyer with NO access to the MLS. She responded to me to not talk to her like this. Well boo-hoo. If she wants to respond with lack of common sense in the first place given she is a broker then she will receive a prompt response! I guess this is why she has really bad reviews!

Her knowledge of the area and the right people to get jobs done made everything easier. Every time we hit what felt like a roadblock she was in the background deftly working to make it more of a small speed bump. Her communication was not only timely, but often preempted our needs, it was amazing. Throughout the entire process the one consistent comment that my boyfriend and I kept saying to each other was "thank goodness we found Shannon." It's difficult to capture how truly amazing our experience was thanks to Shannon and Freestone Properties.

I was severely disappointed in the property management of where we stayed, the Gateway Getaway. The…read moresheets were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a bloody bandage on the comforter, stains all over the sheets, and some sort of bodily gunk, possibly boogers? That was our best guess. On top of finding all of those goodies, there were never clear instructions provided for the gate. The fact there was a gate is mentioned, but the physical place of the gate opener was never stated. Since that was the case, we had issues getting into the property. We tried contacting the management company multiple ways - phone calls and email messages across multiple days with no response until we contacted VRBO. It's also falsely advertised as 35 minutes from Asheville, expect a 45 minute drive. Not only was the cleanliness questionable, but the management was horrific. If I could give negative stars I would.

It was clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet neighborhood not far from a small downtown area. It was so beautiful we were talking about relocating there before our visit was up(LOL). I would definitely recommend it and would stay again in the future. P.S. Was there anything wrong with it? I'm thinking maybe the acreage is full of old mines or caverns or might fail a perc test for the septic. She responded fairly quickly and said no, nothing is wrong. The buyers are simply older and don't visit the area as much as they used to. The change in price more than doubled that very same afternoon from $27,000 to $59,900. Now that seems a little unethical to me. So if dealing with a seemingly unethical realtor at Keller Williams is your ideal then by all means this is your place.
