We are first time Home OWNERS now, no longer looking, thanks to Mitch. We found the perfect piece of Asheville to make ours. Mitch took us under his wing and made this stressful process so much better than it could have been. He answered all the questions we could possibly have and went above and beyond with that. He had us in mind, he kept us afoot with new listings daily and even some that hadn't yet hit the market. He answered our texts and calls quickly at our very different hours. Every time we saw a potential house we got to walk through the house the very next morning. If he noticed something off about a property, he let us know. If he saw us discouraged, he assured we would find it. He said we had time on our side. He knew exactly what we wanted and he knew what would disappoint us. He was personable and down to earth. We are restaurant people and can be a little more colorful in our language and he didn't skip a beat when communicating. I got upset once and sent a not-so-nice email to a realtor that I felt had wronged us, maybe not intentionally, but it hurt. She then forwarded the email to him and responded condescendingly. I was embarrased. Mitch called me and we laughed a little and he made me feel better. When alot of money and your future is on the line, you do tend to get a little more emotional. He understood that. He knew we found our house when we did. He gave us step by step information on what to expect with the process, what we will encounter financially and even told us jokingly we might pull our hair out once it really got into the thick of the financial stuff. MAN WAS IT STRESSFUL. I couldn't tell you how happy we were to have Mitch. He helped me keep a level head and got us set up with his truly wonderful team of people. We got hooked up with Leanna Lewis from Atlantic Bay and a super great legal team at Asheville Law offices. We kept at it. We put in several offers, it fell through. Then days later I get a happy Mitch on the phone, my house was yet again about to hit the market. Anyone not familiar with real estate law and the craziness that goes along with it would be lucky to have him. Anyone with an idea of what to expect would also be lucky. He made every step of the process a little better. Thank you Mitch! We are happily in our home, now almost a month. Thank you thank you thank you.

We are so glad we did because buying a property in NC while living in Florida came with a bunch of bumps in the road. All of these bumps became very smooth with the help of Bret and Amber. From FaceTime showings of potential properties, setting up appointments with contractors (and actually meeting them at the house to get quotes), putting us in touch with local vendors and even just simpler things like telling us great places to eat! Buying a house is stressful and I really could not have imagined doing this without them helping us along the way. We will definitely be recommending them to friends and family who also decide to move to the area. If you are looking to move to Asheville and are worried about buying a place while you live in another state, these are the people to help. I wish I would have found them way earlier in our house hunt. Thanks again!

She and her Firefly Transaction Manager Jessica handled the many admin details, inspections, referrals and docs to affect a two-week close on the sale! Well Done. Jordan Lockaby's skillful lead, Firefly's staff resources, Keller-Williams' affiliation and efficient TEAM organization provided a smooth process for a successful sale! I was severely disappointed in the property management of where we stayed, the Gateway Getaway. The…read moresheets were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a bloody bandage on the comforter, stains all over the sheets, and some sort of bodily gunk, possibly boogers? That was our best guess. On top of finding all of those goodies, there were never clear instructions provided for the gate. The fact there was a gate is mentioned, but the physical place of the gate opener was never stated. Since that was the case, we had issues getting into the property. We tried contacting the management company multiple ways - phone calls and email messages across multiple days with no response until we contacted VRBO. It's also falsely advertised as 35 minutes from Asheville, expect a 45 minute drive. Not only was the cleanliness questionable, but the management was horrific. If I could give negative stars I would.

Was there anything wrong with it? I'm thinking maybe the acreage is full of old mines or caverns or might fail a perc test for the septic. She responded fairly quickly and said no, nothing is wrong. The buyers are simply older and don't visit the area as much as they used to. The change in price more than doubled that very same afternoon from $27,000 to $59,900. Now that seems a little unethical to me. So if dealing with a seemingly unethical realtor at Keller Williams is your ideal then by all means this is your place.
