These shops always remind me of airports as they have very similar displays and offers to those that you would see inside a duty free shop! It's obviously not as cheap as a duty free shop, but they certainly have some great discounts and offers here! My housemate bought the Diesel fragrance called 'Fuel for Life' here and got a really nice Diesel satchel free, which was of such great quality that it's lasted him for two years and has been used on a daily basis! Fragrances that I would recommend from here are Paco Rabannes, 'Ultra Violet', Diesels 'Only the Brave' and Jean Paul Gautiers, 'Le Male'

This store is located opposite the Disney store and next to Office to be more specific. There is another branch of The Fragrance Shop at the St John's mall around half a mile away, which is quite interesting as this location is somewhere totally different in the One mall, yet still on St John Street but the Perfume Shop seem to be stepping up the game in Liverpool, having two branches much closer to another in more "city centre" locations which shows this place must be doing something wrong, compared to their rivals and I think they are which I will explore throughout this review. This store is much larger than my local branch of The Fragrance Shop in the Manchester Arndale and is a much different shape, and is more like The Perfume Shop in terms of layout in a sort of oval or square like place. I went in to ask if they stocked any samples, the staff members seemed unhelpful and told me they didn't have any, which must be store policy as it was the same in the Manchester Arndale store, meanwhile other brands such as large department stores including Debenhams nearby and rivals such as The Perfume Shop do normally have samples, although the latter did not have any on this occasion either. One thing I've found with The Fragrance Shop is a worse service and higher pricing than their rivals, and this store meets that stereotype I'm sorry to report. This store just is disappointing, a let down and sadly deserves a single one star.

This is a large Boots at Coliseum Shopping Park right by Coliseum Shopping Park in Ellesmere Port…read more While the store looks dire from the outside, with the most disgusting yellow tower, housing the Boots logo, the interior is much nicer. Being a retail park location, it is easy to get in and out of the store quite quickly, parking outside or nearby. I was able to find what I was looking for in-store, but I did only come in looking for a cold beverage. The selection in store was good, and although extra facilities you'd hope to find in Boots including the Opticians are lacking, it is a nice store overall. I also appreciate how they keep the Pharmacy open for the entire store opening hours during the week, when many Boots stores close off the Pharmacy earlier, although this isn't the case on weekends, it is nice to see the Pharmacy open until 20:00 during the week. Despite visiting on a Friday afternoon, and the store being reasonably busy, there was only one staff member on the checkouts, she was friendly and trying her best, but this meant service was slow, especially combined with a lack of self-service tills. A nice Boots store with a reasonable selection and friendly staff, but improvements could be made especially in terms of adding a bit of technology to the customer experience and more staff members on both the checkout and shop floor. 4*

There are three All That Jazz shops, two next to each other in the Forge, one selling greeting…read morecards, gifts and ornaments, the next garden and household repair items and the third shop on London Road stocking furniture and decorative items. I can never quite make my mind up about these shops, sometimes I enter to find them full of tat I would only expect to see on sale at a seaside resort, other times I find them full of unique statement pieces that are a bargain and would look great in my home. This variety and speedy turnover of stock makes for a great visit either way though as you just never know what you will find. In my opinion one of the best home shops in Warrington, especially when it comes to Christmas-they always pull out all the stops to stock up with inexpensive but beautiful Christmas ornaments-I know i'll be checking back regularily in the run up to Christmas day.
