She's also so sweet and so incredibly nice. I previously had another makeup artist lined up months before my wedding. But about two months before the wedding day, this other makeup artist had to cancel due to some understandable reasons. This lead me to frantically contact multiple makeup artists near the Sacramento and Oroville area. Luckily for me, the moment I talked to Olivia on the phone, I knew I wanted her to be my makeup artist. Just over the phone she sounded so sincere and helpful. I quickly scheduled a makeup trial a few weeks before my wedding day. Olivia drove out to Oroville for the bridal makeup trial. She was very attentive as to the kind of bridal look I wanted and even suggested a few things when I didn't know what style/color to choose. When I was done with the makeup trial, I was more at ease with my wedding planning because I knew I had found a great makeup artist. I even went to a makeup store after our trial and bought a lot of products she used and recommended. She just gives off that trustworthy (and cool) vibe. As for the day of my wedding, she was amazing! She met my maids-of-honor for the first time and was really quick to know what foundation color and style to do for them. She was also so much fun! She felt like a friend joining us with our girl talk and laughter. She even helped one of my maids-of-honor with her hair. She went above and beyond. Oh! I should also mention she uses air brush foundation. I was having an outdoor wedding and the air brush foundation felt really light and it didn't drip off my face during my 2 p.m. (90 degrees) spring ceremony. Yay! Brides, if you are looking for a good makeup artist, use Olivia. She's good at what she does and she's a genuinely sweet and sincere person. I loved working with Olivia and am so happy she did my makeup for my big day.

Ever since I was little, my sister and I would talk about this day and how she wanted to do my hair and makeup. Nothing against my sis (as she has always done a great job), but I told her I really wanted Linda to do my hair and have her makeup stylist, Nikki, doll up my facial features. At first my sister was really hurt, but through all the chaos that goes on during a wedding, the morning of the big day, my sister said she was glad that I hired the professionals. She, too, had her hair and makeup done, as well as some of my other bridesmaids. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! I have never looked so good. Linda did a fabulous job on my hair and Nikki did an amazing job with my makeup. Linda, told me to step aside and only asked for my bridal party's contact information, and she would take on the challenge of organizing and relaying all information pertaining to getting ready for the big day... which was super nice, because let's face it, sometimes trying to get everyone on the same page is like herding cats!!! On the day of my wedding, I met Nikki for the first time. She asked me what I was looking for, was very nice and easy to talk to. I told her I wanted to look natural (just like her... I loved her own style... timeless). I rarely wear makeup and so I told her I did not want to feel like there were layers upon layers of makeup. I did not want to feel like I was wearing a mask! She not only made me shine, I felt like there was nothing there, even though I watched her apply and apply. I was comfortable in my own skin. I scheduled a pre-hair appointment with Linda and she worked very patiently with me to figure out just what I wanted for my big day. After Nikki made me look fabulous, Linda, with game plan in hand, finished the final touches brilliantly. I felt like I stepped out of a wedding magazine. I literally thought "Holy $#&%" I look amazing. My future husband is going to pass out at the alter (thankfully he did not, but he did cry... a bit (in case he ever figures Yelp out) - YOU WERE A STUD UP THERE, Babe!!!) Basically, call Linda for hair! Call Nikki for makeup!!! Do it NOW!!! She took me from a deep reddish brown to a neon purple-lavender..
