We saw several of these pharmacies throughout Rome, and I assumed they were all part of some kind of chain or nationalized system. I guess the signage is standardized, distinctive and green, so the pharmacies are easy to identify. They are otherwise independently operated places of business.
This Farmacia had a vast, highly visible selection of condoms. I had to ask for help to find the nail clippers, which were in a less obvious location. The woman working the pharmacy was polite and pointed me in the right direction.
I clipped my toenails as soon as I got back to the hotel. €4 very well spent. Hit up this pharmacy if you're in this part of town, in need of grooming tools, prophylactics, etc.
