I know this only says three stars but truth be told, it's more worth three and a half, but not four. This is such a quiet, pretty area. The locals much love it here. The playground is actually substantial enough to have that title plus it's a decent enough space to throw a frisbee or kick a ball. It is at the bottom of a fairly significant hill so you couldn't exactly have a game of footy very easily.
The playground is split into two sections. The more elaborate play equipment is in less shade. There is a little sheltered area where you could set up a table and chairs. There are also lovely gum trees throughout the park that would definitely suit a picnic rug. I couldn't find a drinking fountain unfortunately.
This is a nice place and worth a visit...just not from the other side of town.
