But it's not awful and it serves its' purpose and the lady and man running it have always been pleasant with me. Definitely avoid during school hours though there's a highschool and elementary school right at the corner. Swarms of kiddos before and after school and at lunch hours and recess Monday- Friday.

Great little store on the McGill campus…read more The staff is all incredibly friendly and very helpful. They make their pastries daily as well as the chicken nuggets, burgers and taquitos. They have sandwiches delivered almost daily as well. They've got tons of great specials on the majority of the items in the store at all times. They have a coffee machine that makes fancy lattes and cappuccinos. As well as they have the 1st contactless store in Canada. Couch Tard Connecté. It's really nifty. You download the couch tard app, create an account and then enter your credit card info and this allows you access to the grab and go section of the store. The store is monitored by 360 cameras that view you as a coloured QR code. You grab what you want and then just walk out and you'll get your bill via email. Really great spot to have on campus to grab snacks in-between classes or while you're at the library, which is conveniently across the street. (When life goes back to normal and we're allowed on campus again) Definetly worth swinging by to check out!

So you have to go inside to get a receipt. The line was 10 people deep with only one cashier. When I asked for a receipt he said why. Why is not Important and give me a copy. But she kept saying hello and I didn't answer. I think she was looking for a fight. She wouldn't put my ice cream through and kept staring at me. She must've thought I'm an easy mark because I'm female. So I didn't buy the ice cream and walked out. Because of her the store loses customers and money. I had the same issue with her a year ago. Yes she's still working there. That time she laughed wickedly as I walked out. This time she made a nasty comment in French as I left.
